So, when i turn on my xbox, the ring turns red, and the whole thing freezes, amd it dosent work. Any suggestions?
 
that is the main problem with xbox 360 consoles. it is a popular problem. call 1-800-4-myxbox and tell them your xbox is broken. they will immediately ask you if there is a red ring around your xbox power button. once you say yes they will send you a box in which you ship your xbox back to them and they either fix it or send you a brand new one for no charge. they also give you a free 1 month subscription as an xbox live gold member as apologies for the inconvenience.
 
yea like a fucking super nintendo, i would trade my 360 for a snes with a good library any fucking day of the week
 
like, a ps3? bwahahahaha. the only other one worth buying is the wii. its kind of a novelty right now but so many people are buying them, developers will notice and its gonna be hard to not take the wii seriously.
 
PS3 owns the x-box 360 any day of the week ahah.

Wii pwns hands down, but I am a Nintendo fan so I am biased.

You buy me an SNES in working condition, and all the games, above mentioned, brand new and sealed, and I SHIT YOU NOT I will buy you an x-box 360.
 
gl, if you find them int hat condition you will have done what it has taken me 10 years to do.

Also you will have spent about $600 more then you needed to, to get yourself an x-box.
 
Almost all of the x-box 360's did that. That's the reason they where being so generous.

haha my buddy got the 3 red lights and microsoft sent him a box to send the 360 back in. the day the "coffin" as he put it came the 360 started working again. now every time it acts up he just places the coffin next to it and it goes back to normal.
 
Xboxes are alive, i swear if my xbox says "disc is damages/disc is dirty" i rub the green circle on the top while it loads up and it ALWAYS works.
 
PS3 is gay. wii and 360 are the best. wii is totally innovative, and 360 is going to have halo 3 and it has GOW. PS3 only has a large cock up its ass.
 
mine was doing that and i wasn't under warrenty. it would have cost me 125 bucks to fix it. so i sold it on ebay for around 180 i think. i like my normal xbox better.

 
no it doesn't but you can get a trial of the silver membership for i think 2 weeks. but a full year membership no.
 
you have to set it up. i forgot how but just google setting up xbox 360 live or something. ask japanada he should remember how.
 
when you turn on your xbox, connect to the internet, put in the subscription code when told to and go from there
 
you probably have to send it in, but... i know on the old Xbox if you didn't have every thing plugged all the way the light turned red so make sure every thing is hunkydory back there before calling Xbox.

As of right now the 360 is the best system out there.

the PS3 is to expensive, doesn't have any killer apps yet and the graphics are on par with the 360

o and the online is no where near as organized as XBL

the wii is cool it just doesn't have the games yet
 
when you buy it, you get a month of gold free, activate with the code that is included w/ the console. After the month if you dont renew, you automatically get reduced to silver, which is free for life. you cant play online, but you can DL games and patches ect.
