I personally like TEN, just because its shorter and I cant sit through long movies. But Yearbook is rad too, Both Tanners have the sickest parts, as well as Abma.

do the chickens have large talons?

It is really close, I think yearbook has better music and better angles for the shots, but it kind of got a little repititous with the parachuting thing. I dont know, I call it a tie. Yearbook if it didnt have so much base jumping.

Yearbook has the better camera angles, but ten just plain rocks. Personally Yearbook hasn't grown on me yet. I still like focused so much better. I have yet to see a ski movie I hate

 
Straight up: X is more fun to watch. I don't give a shit about Seth Morrison complaining about downtime in AK and Bella Coola. I don't want to hear him complain about poor snow conditions when he's on heli trips that cost a minimum of $10 000 US per skier. I don't want to see Shane McConkey parachute off cliffs for 20 minutes. I don't care. I want to see people ski.

It's really too bad for some of the other skiers featured in the movie, like Abma and Backstrom, because their parts are awesome. But overall, MSP's efforts this year are lackluster at best.

X, on the other hand, is easily one of Poorboyz' best movies. It's fun, flows decently well once you get used to it, and the music is better. No complaining, no parachutes, just good skiing with a freestyle focus.

Besides, MSP doesn't deserve your support. No other company has tried so hard to fuck over absolutely everyone they can in the industry, and no other company accepts change as poorly as they do. Take your money elsewhere.

ill be super rich and own mt.hood and let everybody from ns ski for free... except freezed

Jib_This- yeah X had more consisently impressive footage, but don't knock Seth Morrison for anything Matchstick put in their movie

i thought the heli shots in Yearbook were absolutely amazing and i was happy to see backstrom in it, but other than that...X all the way- good skiing, good music, good riders, all in all great movie

i get really really tired of all the slowmo that msp uses. pbp... err, make that LEVEL 1(!) is the way to go if you like exciting movies with a lot of real-time shots.

my level of radness... it just can't... be quantified.
 
i have yearbook, i've seen X. ALthough yearbook has some good shots, X is the better movie here

Ten def the better movie. Yearbook does have some great shots because they spent so much on the helis.

if you bring in other movies, then redtape should be put into the mix as well. ive seen x, yearbook, and redtape, and redtape is the best of the three, for sure.

i also saw disturbing the piste, and i have one question...who's hifi camcorder did you all use? decent skiing, but where's the video quality?
