i have heard several different things....i've heard its definately at breck again, its definately NOT happening....so we called ryan miller and he said they were at sugarbowl cali....has anyone heard and/or confirmed any of these possibilities?

well, breck still has it as one of their events on their site, its in january sometime. the reason why it is in breck is because breck is partialy owned by aspen, therefore they have a say where the event is, and they said breck because it has one of the best, if not the best park in colorado (i say the best), so you can say what you want but unless the xgames decided to stop bending over to aspen its gonna be here.

You're a dumb ass freeski. Aspen doesnt own Breckenridge. Breck is owned by Vail Resorts, which owns Breck, Keystone, Beaver Creek, Vail and Heavenly. Aspen Skiing Co. owns Snowmass, Highlands, Ajax, and Buttermilk where X-Games are held. Aspen Skiing Co has nothing to do with Vail or Breck other than being competitors with one another.

i was told by mark abma at the yearbook premiere that x quals are NOT going down this year. he said somethign to the extent that expn is regulating who is invited or something.

freeski1620, MY steamboat employee pass works at Aspen too. It is an agreement between all the colorado resorts but that has nothing to do with the fact that the event is at Breck. unfortunately Vail Resorts is gay and nobody's employee pass works at their mtns if you dont work at Vail/Beaver/Breck/etc...

yeah...you guys are kinda behind the curve...there is no legit x-qualies. expn is being gay, and cutting down on the number of contestants and rounds...i think i heard something about grabbing top 3 finishers from 2 or 3 different big comps...
