I dont know if this has been posted yet cause I ussually dont read threads bout' the X games. But I just read that the X Games are going to be in whistler next March 15-18. There using teams or some shit like that.

Not sure if anyone really cares but I figured I'd post it anyway.

i thought they were only going to be held at american ski company resorts? and doesn't aspen get it for another year before it moves on? just dont' seam right.

aspen isnt an asc resort is it? and im pretty sure its at aspen

What I read could be wrong, but I read that the X Games Global Championships (whatever that is) are being held March 15 - 18 and all of the ski and snowboard events are being held at Whistler-Blackcomb.

They are also using some sort of team system, not sure what. Anyway, I only read this, it's not like I have some source or something.

X Games in Whistler

PHILADELPHIA - The Whistler Blackcomb Resort in British Columbia and San Antonio's Alamodome will co-host the first X Games Global Championship next year. The new competition, which will be held from May 15 - 18, will include 11 events in six catagories. Skateboarding, bike stunt, moto X and aggressive inlineskating will be in San Antonio, with snowboarding and skiing at Whistler. Teams will represent Canada, the United States, South America, Europe, Asia and Australia.

i think there at aspen they singed some long term deal with espn for a couple yrs i think i am not sure though but whistler would be very cool!!!

 
there are diff xgames in other countries... i think thats why its called global championships....like the winners of those go on to the thing at whis and san antonio

 
Yeah, thats what I got from reading it. This isn't the North American Xgames, its a different comp. The normal Xgames will probably still be held in Aspen and this new comp will feature the best from all over the world.
