X Games Superpipe Live Thread

JPV shoulda been scored higher I think. Going that big on switch hits (not to mention that alley-oop flat 5) has got to be at least as hard as doing a dub. If only he had one in his run...
 
3rd is pretty good for a broken wrist and no poles. stoked on the podium though with the exception of JPV not getting a higher score.
 
Wow props to TYW and pollard-voillet that was the bee's knees. Wise guy with the big W though.

Love how the female host stumbled like hell ddd-ouble co'ork? 1280 sorry 1260, does that say mute? or chute?

The snowboard big air commentating is the worst in years. And X-Games commentating isn't historically great. These guys seem very lost.
 
Sandbech's face at the end was priceless, though I do feel sorry for him. For those of you who didn't watch the snowboard finals: Sandbech was in a comfortable lead with a 91 when time ran out. Every rider was given one extra run but Sandbech decided to sit the last one out. Then Horgmo landed a switch backside triple cork (I think it was, apparently it's never been done in a comp before) and took first place with a 44+50=94. The next rider was McMorris who landed another triple to get second place with a score of 46+48=94.Bummer, sit one out with a smile on your lips only to get bumped from first to third in the OT run...
 
DUMONTTT killing it with no poles. thats the pro that i know, well deserved podium. probably more than 3rd aswell
