haha I was thinking the same shit, he's a great skier just not on the same level as the rest of the guys...phil casabon right now is like fuck I shoulda went to Windells or water camp or whatever and learned some dubs haha

commentators are newbs. probably got a sheet with lingo that they have to say the whole competition
 
you guys understand that this is on ESPN. most people watching this are other sports fans and only watch skiing once a year. If the announcers are saying pretzel, cork and all that jazz the viewers have no idea what they're talking about unless it's spelled out for them

That was a sick run, but where the fuck did that score come from? They just want to put sammy starting later in the finals. Bobby could straight air and get first if they are judging for the viewing of the finals.
 
there should be a linecatcher type of event at x games that would be fuckin uuunreal. i'd be pretty fuckin down to watch petit tear it up
 
wish there were 10 qualifier spots, i feel like it will be necessary next year with everyone at such a high level
 
yea this was definitly one of the better x games slopes, remember when they used to cut to snowmobiling every two seconds and you missed like half the runs, also rememeber when ski slope was cancelled and it was big air and everyone did switch cork 10.

I also hate how they don't discern between doubles, like bobby's was a dub misty right? and some other people throw like rodeo dubs (I think Sammy) and someone was doing some sort of dub underflip, its so much better to see a variety than just dub corks

Ha yeah and schiller medaled in big air and they gave him a medal with slopestyle written on it. he was pretty stoked he got a medal in slope tho he didnt earn it.
