Can't believe there's an athlete in the x-games without a ski sponsor (Colby, gray painted skis...)
 
I have all the respect in the world for Mike Douglas, but he gets worse at announcing every year. There have been like six different doubles with several different grabs thrown in the comp already and he has referred to all of them as just a double, and I don't think he know the name of any rail tricks anymore
 
I do not know how he does not have a ski sponsor at this point, but whatev. hopefully he can land a rail and advance..IMO for us who dont have class right now, its on espn2

I'd say not making an attempt at all.
 
You have to remember that the audience isn't just us newschoolers and other freestyle skiers...he's just keeping it simple so people understand what's going on, plus it's all happening very fast, it would be pretty hard to stay on top of all of them...you really think he doesn't know the name to every double and every grab?

I'm starting to wish they could find a way to vary the course from year to year. It seemed like each year they used to make something new, something bigger. But these days it's pretty much the same course from year to year.

Though I can't think of any new features or anything, so i realize it's not that easy...
 
yeah man, i was so stolked when i saw his run! it was fuckin nutx, his octo in the dub 12 was rad, and i cant express how happy i was when he didnt grab mute in his last rightside dub 12 (or was it 10)
and also he really is changing up his rail game, 180 on and surface change-up where both dope, im so glad to see him not doing the same old run, a little more B and E style of tricks!
 
The announcers just talked about how seeing the same tricks repeated gets you less points, then they continue to say how Casabon won't score high cause he is not throwing 3 dub's
