X Games slope style

this up and coming x games slope style should be out of this world. i could basically see it being a showdown between the level 1 boys with matchstick. ofcourse the heavy hitters will be tj, tanner (possibly making a return), simon, colby and that crew. but what about walisch....the young guns on level 1 can really throw down and the tech and steeze they have on rails is absolutely insane. i cant wait to see what happens. anyone else have an opinion on this?

showdowns dont usually involve that many people ha you basically just said its gunna be a showdown between basically everyone ha ha wat you shoulda said is "its going to be amazing...end of discussion"

would be sick , BUT not everybody goes to xgames maing, like your talking about the level1 ''crew'' , thye are all sick skiers but theres only wallisch goin to xgames

I think its gonna be pretty sick seeing tanner back doing everything because his ankles are finally alowing him too. its gonna be sick

If they invite based on your different wins in comps, HH definetily has a bigger chance of getting an invite than Wallisch

style is like 30% of the xgames. its all about tech of a trick, and the judges could care less on how someone keeps there hands at there sides.

If henrik and wallisch both go, I think they will both make the podium no doubt but I think Henrik would finish higher because he would throw a steezy switch 14 on the booter, and the X games slopestyle is usually a spin to win contest.

i personally dont think tanner will do that well. He is unbelievably sick but I dont think he is at the top of park riders anymore.

2nd aspen open- i think thats pretty important cause its on the x games slopestyle course. Also hes been slayin the early season rail jams. It would be nice if he posted and told us whats up

not only does wallisch have better TECH then most of the big sponsor names in the sport right now, his grabs and STYLE is just as good if not better then most of them except maybe jossi and gagnier.

It's kind of unfortunate that the X-Games is based on competition results, because there are plenty of ams who could bring their A game on any given day and beat out any of the pro's. That being said, it would be pretty hard to make the x-games an "open" format because of the mass quantities of riders that would show up and try and make it. I don't really know where I was going with this post

He really might do amazing though... when Tanner wants something he trains harder then anyone to get it. I really wouldn't be surprised if he blows us all away at the x-games.

the people behind x-games should try to do something new this year, like changing the way they score people. It should not all be based on how hard the trick is, a hucked 14 doesn't look as good as a 7 with tons of style.

And even though the last years slopestyle was sick , i hope they do something completely new this year. Like add an element that hasn't been used before. and more rails and boxes, last year they only had two.

AND, they should let more people do the big air contest, 4 people like last year sucked...

First of all Tanner will do real good, he slays on jumps, and he is so consistant. Secondly it would be cool if the athelete selection commitee chose some of the up and comers who outski a lot of the older big name pros, ex. wallisch and henrik, but don't be surprised if they don't. Third, riders like rainville, pep, and mahre are fun to watch, but unless you are in aspen or have dish network you won't see their runs... That being said, lets hope they step up the size of the "money booter" and make it a legit 80-90ft kicker.

but generally speaking its more like 10s, with grabs, stomped. so technical, and with "steeze"

as for big air, i think it was sorta a test run last year, so maybe they will have more this year.

and as for more features, people are bored by rails, so i doubt they will add more.

the night before the london freeze which happened this past weekend, some friends of mine who were competing on the sunday were walking down the road looking to buy some weed.
guess who they bump into? tanner hall! they ended up smoking with him for an hour or so and tanner was telling them about how he had got henrik into x games because he thinks he slays. seems like a really cool guy, super chilled. whether henrik competes or not remains to be seen, but tanner has got him in. x games is going to be siick

word. that is the truth, but i just havent seen any evidence that he holds some of the tricks that the new kids have
