X-games riders

Anyone else notice on the big air riders list its people who can double cork/flip except Dumont? Also stoked the Walker and Casabon were invited hopefully b-dog will be healthy to compete. And Wallisch not invited? shits beat
 
I think the real question now is...will tanner compete in slopestyle? or will he give his position to Wallisch, if he could?If he tanner does drop into both the pipe and slope course it's double gold '09...
 
It's fucking insane, seeing a mono skier go off of a 60 foot booter is the craziest thing that i have seen in my entire life.

Haha - not the mono skier you were thinking of Frank.

It used to be called sit ski, but actual name for the sport is mono ski. Those guys absolutely charge and it's incredible to watch.
 
its like marc-andre's kind of skiing now, for which if they had a slopestyle comp there would be no question who would win it
 
big air is just gonna be stupid. pk better win.

slopestyle looks good except for the fact that 2 of the 3 most entertaining riders aren't even in it. peter o, get out. anders backe, sorry, but i'd vote you out too.
 
anyone else cringe when they got to the snowmobile part? i'm so sick of watching snowmobile jumps and races, it seems like they take over winter x
 
the only thing not explainable is not haveing henrik invited couse he podiumed dew tour.wallisch is probably not invited couse he doesnt have any good results there,yes,hes a great skier but they dont watch ski movies to decide witch athlete they will invite

Tom and henrick are dominating this sport right now, they both have great style and does crazy tricks

Why must we go through this every year.

They put out an initial list based on mainly competition results and then add in more skier probably like around 5 depending on who gets injured/who can't compete/etc. The added skiers are usually based more on film parts but not solely. This is where t wall and henrik might get in but it all depends.

And how is no one dissapointed in not seeing laurent favre's name on that list?! unless hes injured?? idk
 
Laurent Farve is awesome but I don't think he's quite Xgames level. Saw him at LDA at mondial and he slayed it but no comparison to the likes of Simon or Tanner etc.
 
I think it would be sick if big air was a 4 on 4 team style, like North America vs. Europe. Shit would go off
