X-games Real Street Ski Vs Snowboarding

Rene's was the best, Zak's was pretty sick as well, the rest of them were great parts but IMO maybe not xmode level...

Snoboardings dynamics are pure shit compared to baving separate sleds attached to each leg.

watch how sketchy snowboarders look doing dubs and trips. They look like shit—like they are on the borderline of being totally out of control.

that being said, a nice slow cork 5 or 9 on a board is a very pretty thing

You're not even trying anymore. Shouldn't you be waxing your skis for christmas?

Why do you think im trolling? Im not saying that im not trolling, because sometimes i troll without being aware of it, but im just wondering why you dont think you can take my post at face value.

my old name “trawltopilot” means to unknowingly troll on a massive scale but on “autopilot”.

is this what you think is happening here?

snowboarding is to skiing as rollerblading is to skateboarding.

on the pavement, skateboarding is way cooler than rollerblading, but on snow, skiing crushes snowboarding in steeze potential, trick potential, and most of all, watchability

a snowboard is a better tool for urban than skis. more agile, more pop, can generate speed easier with pumps, and can grind/slide more surfaces.

i agree that snowboards are a little better for urban but better for speed?? idk about that

that's basically the deal breaker for me with snowboarding, being relatively powerless on flat ground is a major turnoff to me

you almost never end up in a situation in the streets when you need to "skate" on skis to generate speed on flat ground, and usually when you do it's because the spot build is bad and there's not enough speed. snowboarders are better at maintaining speed from drop ins and pump bumps. IMO skiing is better for speed on mountains but not at all in the street.

As said on a skiing website... big lol

Not to hate on people who genuinely prefer snowboarding, or invalidate what someone enjoys doing, but if we're gonna get into the discussion on snowboarding vs. skiing style...

Every time I'm on skis in the park and see snowboarders, I always think to myself, "I'm so glad I'm on these two planks instead of clunking a board around, it just seems kinda awkward to me and I feel so much more comfortable on skis"

Kinda feel the same way in the skatepark lmao

I think Mango had overall the gnarliest edit from either of the two contests/disciplines, but that hand-drag dub was the best trick IMO.

Also gunna catch heat for this one....

A nice frontboard on a flatbar/downrail is the best rail trick to watch in the park.

Nah bruh safety grab fastslide on skis is my favorite. You don't see it that often though

If your last sentence was even true, skiing would be more comparable to blading as grinding on blades can get way more technical and flashy and generally goes way bigger than skateboarders

But it doesn't even matter because literally none of what you said was true, snowboarding is not particularly ugly to watch compared to skiing esp in the park

Its actually the opposite, contrary to your wild beliefs, snowboarding is more popular than skiing.
