Calling it now. Carlson and miller in the final. Even though I'm a bigger fan of miller I think Carlson is going to take it.
 
What the fuck! Dane throws first ever BC triple and doesn't even get into the finals. If Dane doesn't win best man made air in the powder awards, there is no justice in the ski industry. Rant over.
 
They still have yet to announce the actual judging for gold, silver, bronze- which I would expect Dane to place in. Those are the real awards in my opinion. The people's choice is cool, but it goes to whoever can get the vote out the hardest.

good point. Lets hope that the judges actually know what to look for in a true backcountry edit. Dane deserves at least bronze! however, im my opinion, his was on par with carlson's for gold. Between the big AK like lines, pillow lines and the jumps (especially sw trip), he deserves a medal! It's a true well rounded backcountry edit!

this guy is right. Dane didn't blend his skills like others... Sammy oozed tricks in and out of pillow lines instead of taking them straight then only tricking cheese wedges (and one cheese-esc ridge)

Sammys was obviously best all round. I think he also thought. Lol. that schuster should have made it as well as Dane but America needs good relations with othjer countires right now

I thought schusters was pretty weak... and Dane deserved it more than Wiley coming off of that broken hip last year.

Just my opinion
 
I enjoyed watching Wiley's most, I think it was more varied than some of the others and his style and flow are the shit. Not sure why people are so hyped about Schuster's more than some of the others personally!
