why are x games rail pussy as hell? they really need some more challenging rails. im not that great and i could do every one of those rails on the course.

there is a staircase at the top with a rail and 2 kink boxes on both sides, there is a flat-down rail, and 2 flat rails. its weak as hell.

im thinkin that they want the people in the comp to get real techy on teh rails like spin on n off switch ups whatever just go crazy on them

also the stairset is 21 steps

that whole course is actually pretty weak the longest table is only 60 and its not even the last one i dont know about anyone else but im not sure if were gonna be seeing any cab 10s but maybe some of teh snowboarders 9s were sketchy cause they were spinnin so fast

 
I am sure we would look at it if one of you posted a link? Or the photo, cus then we could all see it and pass judgements about you not knowing ANYTHING about you or your skill level.

i agree^^. yes, they may want people to be tech on rails but wouldnt it be nice for some hard rails like maybe a rollercoaster, S, rainbow, many kinks, something like that! i mean its the x games, its supposed to be huge

but how often do you stomp an s rail? not as often as you stomp a flat down for sure....how gay would it be if on 2/3 of teh runs you didnt make it around the s rail? the comp would suck...

they had a pretty tall flat rail to a c box, MFM hit it. and i think it was small so that people would land everything, cause the judges are nazi about landing

As a few people have mentioned already, there are seceral reasons why the course is not as 'hard' as it could be.

The goal in the slopestyle is to see who can ride the course to the best of thier abilities. It isn't a competition to see who has the balls to hit the most rediculous feature. I myself am not an amazing skier, but i could hit every feature on that course. Does that mean that i'd have a chance to beat Tanner Hall or any other rider? NO!

And why not?

Because, They would be able to ride everything BETTER than me. If you looking to see who has the balls to hit the biggest rails, pop a ski movie into the vcr. If you want to see soneone who can outdo you or me on ANY rail or jump, then the X games should be fun to watch!

I was watching T-hall's practice run and I geuss he was doing a sw 9 mute and on the mute while he was grabbing he pulled the ski off by accident...and now he is rolling around...and probably yelling and shit.

its probly cuz girls run the same course... i watched some girls sbd slopestyle yesterday and they suck. they never did the whole rail and if they did it was a 50-50

I ski at the crappiest hill ever...

 
Guys it is a competition not a rail jam. Why are you hating on the course so bad? I bet under pressure like the x-games, half of you who say they can clean them easy will not even slide half of it. (With exception for the boxes of course)

the corse was kinda cool. it had a lot off cool transfers and the uprail to snow to down rail thing looked super neat. itd be cool if they got film crews in there and people just sessioned and got creative.
