I agree that Dumont got robbed. Torins run was good, I bet Roland gets first even though I hope he doesn't and would not agree with 1st

i really despise him. i feel like he doesnt like skiing, and is just in it for the comp
 
not a big fan of roland, talks like he has a dick up his ass, and is some fucking crazy frenchman.

IMO, Dumont deserved it but I could care less because he's a dick.

Torin fucking murdered.
 
Is it wrong that the only thing I wanted was Dumont knocked off the podium?? Soooo close to happening. Props to Torin for throwing down!
 
Simon was robbed but so stoked for Torin, he will dominate in the next couple of years.

Rolland was pretty much flawless on the final run though, fully deserves the gold.
 
Torin clapped and cheered for Roland when he lost the gold. He was prolly so bummed but at least acted happy for Roland.

Simon pouted and acted like a little bitch when he lost the gold.

Come on , that is a bit shady in the judging department....
X Games is such a soap opera though..... but you just know he's gonna kick off at the judges.
Who are the judges BTW?
 
simon deserves to be pissed. brutal. and he did give torin a fist pound a couple minutes later. nothing big but at least he showed SOME sportsmanship
 
Kinda think Dumont deserved the win, with Rolland in second and Torin in third, so stoked for Torin though, to think that someone almost my age can go out and get second place at X games is insane
 
He acted very bummed. Exactly how I would have acted if I had practiced all year and then gotten beaten by a run with no switch.
Overall, this was less than I had hoped for. Rolland's run was prob. less good than last year and I was hoping to see the sw. dub from Simon or somebody.
 
simon got abosolutely robbed, sure torin was throwing down but simons run was tons better! he has the right to be choked about that.
rollands run was perfect though and definitely deserved first. don't understand the hate coming from you guys, rolland is super stoked to ski and he was stoked on torin's run too
 
seriously, he seems so stoked on the sport, i would put him there with andreas as some of the most happy people in the sport
 
it's suck that the biggest comp is that much badly judged. I mean, dumont, grabbed everything, STOMPED everything, two doubles, sw 10. Stoked for the kid, but clearly wasn't the best run, neither rolland's run...

Still trying to decide who should have won though.
Simons alley oop 7 to sw. 10 was way more tech than flat 3 to sw. 9, however, sw. right 7 was pretty sick by Rolland.
I think Simon's dubs were nicer but Rolland may have had better average height so it is kind of a toss up overall.

Of course he likes the money too but he seems genuinely elated by the win and worked as hard or harder than anyone else for it.
 
back to back switch, both ways, in the middle of the run is balsy and made his run way more complete than doing switch last hit. It reminds me of the days when we used to only see people doing switch ups on the last kink of a multi-kink urban. When skiers start throwing those switch-ups at kink 2 or 3 of 5 or 6 or whatever... maybe another at kink 5 or something... well... thats fucking sick.

1) Anyone on here who agreed Y-W should be in second is nuts. I really don't care much for dumont, but holy crap his run was immeasurably better. 2) How can you hate on Rolland? He is happy, works hard, stoked for others and throws down? And that is something to dislike? Yes, he has a high voice sometimes... oh wait, he can't help how he sounds. That is like hating someone for having brown hair.3) Dumonts run and grabs were ill. I used to think that he really lacked in that area, but he grabbed all the way and his run was huge.
Still baffled at Torin's score. Really like the kid though, seems like a great future for stars in pipe skiing.
