that was espn's worst attempt at covering the pipe, not only did they only show the third runs, they only showed half of the competetors run's, and they never showed or mentioned Candide and that he made it to the finals, i thought it was terrible!

yes it was a joke. and im sure people are gonna be bitching about who should have won and bla bla blah but i think t still has the best style and stupid judges just look for who can go the biggest. and it wasnt like t was going small

i honestly thought Turpins run should have gotten him 9th place.

the judging in the prelims was really inconsistent. Candides run was sick, Dumont fucked up, etc etc.

yeah RAW had all the coverage but i was getting sooo frusterated when it would skip and i would totally miss a hit or something.

i got home late and only caught the tail end of it. but this is bullshit, they showed almost every fuckin snowboard run. i know snowboarding is so much bigger than freeskiing but at least give us some airtime. shit dumont was going so much higher and anttie autti and the other guys. Douglas who i tihnk was doin commentary wasnt even calling the right tricks! i mean cmon, i really do think skiing pipe can be in 2010 olympics but the judging and lack of knowledge of tricks is lame. i guess it will get better as time allows, we are a pretty new sport compared to snowboarding, (freeskiing wise) i mean boarding has been around for longer i believe

the skiers needed to take it up another level so they would be given better coverage next year. Instead they put on an overal weak performance and won't get treated any better next time. I think we should really take action against these guys for denegrating the entire sport in the eyes of the public. its stuff like this that sends freeze out of buisness. Jibbers need to step up, there Urban Rail Bullshit is as cool as motorcylces on snow.

and fuck dumont that hucking piece of shit. yeah he went the biggest, but today, tanner was robbed.

oh and one thing no one should disagree on is that we skiers got totally shown up by the snowboarders in pipe. fucking put us to shame, Antti Autti and Andy Finch's runs were fucking amazing!

^^^ thats cause snowboarders are better at pipe the skiers. dumont didnt go as high as the guy who won 2nd in snowboard pipe. antti autti threw down switch 10 to 10 in the pipe and boosted way out. skiing pipe didnt make them look good, they are good. they just made pipe skiing look really bad. no one is landing switch in the middle of their runs for skiing most people arent spinning both ways and we arent boosting as high or throwing as big of spins down. I think we should forget the x games as a whole and remember usfso cause that was good stuff with the 1260 in the pipe and all. Im very dissapointed... I have to deal with 20 annoying snowboarders tommorrow and for once they will be right.

I think xgames shuodl be judged by the competitors.....the guys shuold all judge eachother instead of having like chuck norris or whoever on the judging panel and handing out points for amplitude and rollerblade grinds

I don't think Gagnier was even in pipe qualifiers. I wish they'd thrown Turpin into the finals when Candide pulled out last minute. He was 1st one to miss the cut anyways.

tanner's third run was flawless in almost every aspect, including that sick ass 10 at the bottom, but he only put together two good runs, Simon put together three mostly good runs...he never fell, only dropped his hands or what not....i thought dan marion shouldve gotten higher than he did tho, because all of his runs were SICK, especially his last

I dont think the skiers did that bad actually. I dont really know if I think back to back 10s were all that good. Sure they are hard, but it didnt really look that good. Furthermore, the skiers amplitude is more than that of (at least from what I saw) the snowboarders; maybe not as constistent. Its good to see that these guys have finally learned to spin both ways in the pipe.

Tanner shouldn't win just for the way he acts everytime he loses. He needs to grow up, and the pipe skiing wasn't very impressive. the snowboarding was way better to watch. skiers have a ways to go

last night they showed all 3 of the runs of pretty much every snowboarder in pipe but in skiing they only showed half the skiers and 1 or 2 of thier 3 runs... how gay

they only showed 1/2 of the skiers and that shit cause they wanted to be the asses they are and have time to show the fucking snowcross. i hate snowcross get it out of here and show all the skiiers/runs. notice how after the superpipe, they showd the semi finals and the finals of the snowcross...

 
did they even show dumont's full run? i only saw clips of the first hit(and he didn't even land all that clean...almost decked it)
