X Games kinda lame?

I'm not going to be the "THEY'RE A THOUSAND THREADS ON THIS" guy, but there are a lot of threads on it.

But yes, I was pretty disappointed with the games this year. A lot of aspects of it just made me not into it this year.
 
i only saw big air the lighting was fine for that but on the other hand the judging was horrific they were judging easier tricks lower then harder ones and if they were expecting a triple they are fucking retarded that jump was TOO SMALL for a triple. a snowboarder got in a fight with me today because torstine did a "triple cork" as the genius that is sal masecala (however spelt) called it but all i saw was a super tucked triple backie! i was really glad that sammy didn't go for the triple or he would've gotten wrecked
 
the skiing parts were sick, i'm definitely glad i don't have to see shaun white on my tv for another year though
 
uh no, i think a lot of people did doubles that didn't win

the judges judge on a lot of different aspects. they clearly do judge on style, it really is a huge part of it. the thing they couldnt realize is tricks like henriks bio 14 is harder than most doubles, and unfortunately still didnt give it the same difficulty credit as any double. the judges werent ignoring style, they had degree of difficulty messed up
 
three things that would have made x better for skiing.

1. make the big air jump bigger. they cant progress if the jump is the same size every year...apparently thats what X is about...progression.

2. Start the slope finals at 10:30 mountain time like the snowboard slope did. granted the snowboard slope had mens and womens, but lets be honest, an 8 man field with 3 runs each and no lights? lets start before noon next year please.

3. Real snow video parts for skiing.
 
didn't you hear you're supposed to leave your style at home for x games....guess henrik didn't get the memo...i remember when x games used to be a legitimate competition.
 
the crowd fucking loves bobby, so they make sure to hype him up just like they do to shaun white.notice how they show the reactions of the parents or whatever to add drama. they always go with ratings over fair voting. also, im not saying schlopy didnt deserve the win in big air but the only reason he got bumped up was to try and pressure sammy into doing the triple. they also scored torin higher than dumont because they know hes young and will be competing in tons of more x games so theyre trying to build a star out of him.
 
Another thing, Levi legally was allows to buoy a special jump for last years dub attempt then y cant skiers have a big jump built if they want to try a progrssive trickt
