X Games Global Championship I

Ski Superpipe Competition Format

Each athlete will take two runs, and the best score out of the two will be counted. The first place competitor will earn 12 points for their team; points descend to one point for 12th place. For the women, the first place competitor will earn 12 points for their team and points will descend to the sixth place spot of seven points.

ya theres no doubt tanners good at halfpipe but hes no comparison to candide the guy went so huge in xgames and jon s a pimp too so europe will dominate. why didnt dave chrighton get on the canada team hes beter that both the phils

didn't Tanner just win the Superpipe Championships in Utah like a month ago too, I think so kiddies....whoever thinks the US has no chance better think again...

 
Asia guys will probably be like all arial, usually japan guys do like triple backs and shit... but Europe looks mad stacked... im still hoping USA takes gold, tanners the man, and cr doesnt have much style but has technical tricks, but yet again, jon and candide...

It sounds like this comp is going to be sick. I like the teams format i think i read that the skiing will be on 10-11 30 girls one night then guys the next but im not sure

Shimo, the guy from japan can throw down really well and has some nice switch manuevers but i realy want to see if C.R. is gonna pull ou this 1440

has anyone ever seen these chinks before in any comps? will they even give the guys from canada or the us or europe some competition? cause ive never heard of these dudes... it seems like they went to some mtn in japan and were like 'dude you look like a good skier, come to the global xgames and compete for asia'

CR posted the highest superpipe score ever in qualifying for the X games. If he can land his tricks he has a pretty good chance.

let's remember it's not all about who's best in single events! canada's team is all round pretty good even if we don't have the best people for a single event!
