List any X-games events that they no longer have here. I'll give it a start.

Ski board slopestyle

Ice Climbing

Mountain biking

street hocky

modified shovel racing

inline vert and street

downhill inline and skateboarding

street (luge) no idea on sp

wakeboarding

barefoot water skiing
 
Man some of those are legit sports, guess they only stick to the mainstream ''extreme'' sports.
 
It pisses me off how when people think extreme sports they think skateboarding, snowboarding, and biking. Mabey a couple others but there are so many more out there that are so legit and fucking crazy.

they were sick when they were still kind of underground back when they first sprung up. I didn't even watch this year because they took all the sweet events that were fun to watch out. Fuck fmx, its boring. Bring back luging, mass 6 person downhill skateboarding, skyboarding, inline (i can't believe they took inline out, it was my favorite thing to watch). Fuck the x games now. They fucking suck.
 
are they still doing the FMX on ice? i remember there were madd amounts of injuries and they had freestyle sledding last year
 
yeah, and what was the motocross on snow event called? they got rid of some weird events, but they've also killed off a lot of really cool events too. i really only watch the x-games for skiing and skateboarding these days.
 
if they still had street luge and downhill skating i would watch it. The only good idea about organizing the events was when they added the big air skateboarding. Thats pretty hardcore, especially when people are falling from 50 feet
 
the x games should really be olympice style like 1 week in the year where every sport is represented. they cant keep putting sports and than removing them thats like the dumbest thing ever . sports will never go big. tony hawk became a household name pretty much because of the 900 he landed in the x-games (also because hes the greatest skater ever but still) some other sports could be pretty fun to watch. I mean they are fucking throwing cars over 80 feet gaps i mean who the fuck has ever done that except at the xgames. they are less and less games and more just a way to prove to most people that these things are the unsafest thing ever. its more and more for the show and less and less geared towards the competitiors.

yeah for sure. especially fmx, its all about putting on a show for the crowd of little kids and their soccer moms, its not about the competition. so much posing and hyping the crowd up for fmx.
 
i cant believe they took out wakeboarding. that was the most surprising to me when they did that. it is one of the more legit sports they took out along with inline. like i can understand ice climbing and shit but those two are sweet as shit.
 
Probably was getting the lowest ratings or more likely, had the least potential for sponsorship $$$$$$$$
 
in my opinion, wakeboarding isnt much of a spectator sport. and they get a lot of their money from keeping crowds happy. every sport there is right in the spectators face, for wakeboarding they are out in a lake.

Fuck cutting sports from X-games. The X-games got snowboarding, skateboarding, skiing, (I could go on) to where they are today. It was a venue for things that normally dont get the press and coverage other sports do. That being said, extreme shovel racing had a beautiful future until the X-games killed it.
 
i wanna see skiing actually get more air time on ESPN, seriously snowboard pipe they show the pre-lims and all the runs in the final. skiing gets the top 10 or whatever they do...they added an event for snowbaording (big air) and didn't include skiing
 
i think if we kill shawn white, hide the body, and dye Colby Wests hair red, (or someone bearing a resemblence to shawn) we'll get more attention
 
idnk barefooting was on the xgames in the past. but its so cool. they do some cool shit and those guys are super strong.

what about shovel racing?(sorry if someone mentioned that)
 
I really don't know why Rally is in the X games (well I kinda do, cause they love travis pastrana) but I think it's retarded. Leave it to the proper racing circuits to put that shit on. And bring back street luge and wakeboarding.
