How is should go down....

Jacob is gonna take it for his double cork 12.

Jon is gonna take second with a switch double

PK third with a double cork 10

Simon 4th with either double front knee grab/misty 10 high mute (I mean, does he throw anything else?)

Jon will win.

Simon will somehow take second again.

Jacob and PK will get the shaft

Tanner poaches the jump and wins with some crazy shit.

haha Pk will win I think, why wasn't Cosco invited? His dub cork 12 is so dope

I don't know the list of athletes... is TJ in? if TJ is in, I'm going for TJ. the switch double 12 mute he did in France was sick!

simon didnt take second last year he lost to jon and gagnier took 2ndalso wished they picked guys with some more unique tricks than simon (youre right about the sw 10's, its all he fucking throws in comps besides the no grab dub front)

well henrik would win if he could do another sw 1620........ but did he even get invited?

hahaah that woulld be dope!

i just hope they dont do that retarded cell phone voting system though...cuz that was super weak

ya if henrik was invited (idk the list) he probably should win with his switch 16, or maybe even his 14 if its stylish enough.

if he did the same sw 16 he did in that vid, i doubt it would win, i mean, yeah it was grabbed, for like a third of it. he was spinning to win, come on

there was only four invited athletes on the list from espn how dumb is that....
i beleive it was
jonsimonpkj. wester
not that cool if there will only be 4 competing athlese

man i feel like the only one who watched big air last year, there will only be 4 competing and they will go head to head in pairs and then the two winners from the two pairs will go head to head in the finals, winner is decided by one judge (mike douglas last year) and the people who text in their votes (together the people count as one vote) and then there is another judge if the two votes are split
also the athletes are the exact same this year with the exception of pk replacing gagnier proving once again that the people running x games know nothing about who really throws down except who gets the media more (come on simon dumont? nothing from the kid but he is definately not top 4 in terms of best single big air trick)

no offence to dumont but why would they invite invite when gagnier got better last year and dumont didnt win any big air this season?

hatveit

Jon

Gagnier

Pk

that would be a better list

you've got 4 guys who are gonna throw different tricks and that could all take gold.

I know what you mean about Hatveit, he definitely should be competing in Big Air...but then again, he would also win because NOBODY has the bag of tricks that he does. he would probably do something sw right 14 opposite high mute or something ridiculous like that. He is a viking!

Simply put, Dumont should not be competing and I would wager than he got invited because of his nationality.

People are giving Simon shit, but he had a very good showing at last years big air. I actually remember thinking he should go on instead of whomever it was that he faced. I'm sure he will do something good this year too. I know he does do dub fronts a lot and the mistys but hey even if he does, the crowd will like it and the most important thing about x-games is getting our sport the recognition it deserves.

bobby way doing switch misty 12's the otherday and he's got double game, idk why he's not on the invite list yet.

Jacob IS competing... i think

at least he didnt break his leg and is back skiing, but somehow his leg still hurts so i'm not 100% sure if hes gonna compete

Gagnier did the 12's

Andreas woul;d be dope if he was invited. unatty kang flip and a rightside sw 12 dub cork, winning runs in my eyes. Prob wasnt invited as he has a pretty damn good chance of winning slopestyle

I wish they would make the big air into a real competition worth watching. Last year's was the most boring competition to watch. Four skiers? Hell, that's hardly even a comp.

Every skier threw the same trick over and over - Dumonts forward 10, Jon and Jacobs kang flips and Charles' switch 10 octos. It was like watching a broken DVD. Crowd was so un-pumped after watching the same shit over and over.

I never saw the TV footage but I'm sure it was equally boring. "So we saw Dumont with the forward 10 mute last run, let's see what we've got this run... Oh! A forward 10 mute! Dumont stepping it up for the crowd! Let's see if Jon can also show his versatility with another kangaroo japan.."

I mostly agree, but last year on Jon's second run he did on of the dopest FLAT 5's I have ever seen. It was like double Japan, but one hand was grabbing nose, while the other grabbed Japan.
