xavier had the winning run at wssi, he just couldnt land it all in finals.

He's definatly one of the best in pipe.

and sammy is not just a slopestyle skier, he ahd decent results in pipe for the past years, just never ended up winning.

and most ski tours were right after other big comps too so guyz filming segments and/or from other continents were not able to participate.

First, I agree that both xavier and sammy are great pipe skiers, OK? Never said they weren't. (PS I don't think Xav's run would have beat Riddle at WSI but that's beside the point).

But...Look at the list of names from the Ski tour, and then compare it to the list of competitors at the NZ Open. You will see that there is NO comparison in terms of the overall caliber of the field.

But anyways, hopefully the other guys get in on the next round, and then we can see who comes out on top at the event.....

Tell you what, if they do get in, and if xavier, gagnier,and sammy beat stefan, hayward, and felton, then I'll buy you as many beers as you can drink (but they all have to be shotgunned ) peace

Some solid choices with some of those other Europeans, such as Rolland, who surprised the shit out of me (and others) at WSI. With more North America comps, they can certainly do well. Could be an interesting year for X Games, except for all the special interest bull shit.
