wow. wow wow wow. love dollo but that was textbook makeup gold after big air judging fuckup and henrik knows it the way he went straight to jesper
 
I mean everything Henrik did was super smooth and clean, I think so much so at times that it looks to easy.

But yeah the dub back tip tap was insane.
 
I think Henriks previous years performance would have beat out this years performance. Only Jesper and some of AHalls tricks looked "balls to the wall I wanna win this thing". Sort of like when Henrik tried the nose butter double but fell.
 
love Henny but not sure he deserved that W. Huck is in the title and you fly Jesper over purely for this event and he went bigger and hacked himself harder than anyone. Dude deserves an X games gold! Wish they would have let him take Henny’s spot in slope once he pulled out. Jesper deserved that for the switch double back (unintentional) tail tap alone. If it was best trick or overall impression I think he takes it. Dollo’s last truck was ? tho
 
Going on entertainment value, Jesper deserves that. Only guy to do a few that haven’t been done? Wonder if Henny will give him the medal

It is literally called knuckle HUCK. Idk if ive ever seen a skier huck themselves as hard as jesper did tonight... besides that fabian quad 1980 from a few years back in practice.
 
Knowing how honest henrick has been in the past when being interviewed, I'm surprised he didn't hand the medal over to jesper.

Knowing how honest henrik has been in the past when being interviewed, I was incredibly surprised when he dropped out of X Games slope over being dissatisfied by the judging as well...
 
we can talk all about how Henrik got robbed in big air on one trick... but dude this is just ridiculous. I am way more aggravated than I should be right now.
 
Sounds like it’s been mentioned, but came here to ask the same thing...rigged Monster event? Henrik opted out of slopestyle due to scoring discrepancies. Maybe XG felt they had to make up for that in some way?

If the whole judging drama stuff didn't happen earlier and he didn't take the W I don't think anyone would be saying 'Henrik totally deserved to win that'. Idk.
 
Ok that was easily the funnest thing to watch from the weekend and Jesper was going off!!! Judging def doesn't feel right at all but the boys threw down some heat!
 
I had to reobtain my old dusty NS account just to come on here and express how fucking unfair that knuckle huck judging was, jeeezus christ! How many fucking times are they rob and fuck Jesper over!? This was his night, and his win to go, no doubt! Fuck me, im furious. Jesper deserved this so much, especially considering how many times he has been robbes throughout the years. This was on another level however, Jesper killed it with NUTS sends tonight. Fuck, I feel so bad for him. Fuck X games, honestly. Rant out.

Hot truth here:

This event would have gone to a Monster athlete regardless of how well the others skied. The directive to the judges was just give it to the Monster skier who did the best. It was 100% rigged. Monster athletes already confirmed to be given preferential treatment for invites.

Judging was wack as fuck, not even surprised though considering it's X Games. I genuinely feel bad for Jesper... as someone mentioned above, this guy works his ass off and shows the world how hard he throws down. Gets screwed by judging in return
 
This form has aways disagreed with results. I've always questioned results (no pun intended) because this form is real skiers. (no pun intended)

I think X, ESPN wants stories. Awarding dollo the gold continues that story for them. Think about it.

I. Personally, have always enjoyed Dollo. because for him it has never been about the fame. it was just skiing. weird as his take may be on it. it has always been just skiing. Celebrate his gold. isn't it cool that was how they closed out X with knuckle tuck Vs. snowboard superpipe?

Dude let’s be real, Henrik is one of the skiing goats, but after watching X every year for over a decade this is the weakest I’ve seen from henrik. He’s been repeating tricks for a few years now and he seems to expect the judges to love it, if there was a 1,2,3 podium maybe put him in there but even he was clearly surprised he won and immediately went up to Jesper. Sorry dog, I know you love that OG style like I do but this knuckle huck was a crock of shit.
