Was definitely an exciting contest to watch, very nice podium as well. Style over spin to win should be every contest
 
yeah because he was trying to do it better, he did a good sw trip 12s and solid sw trip 14 and got < 40pts for each trick, yet kai did TWO dub cork 12s and got a 42 and a 43...
 
i would agree with that, kai stomped the shit out of those landings, whereas abms were a little off compared to kai when your speaking of perfection.
 
just saying, they weren't special at all not super steezy like his dub 9, just a stock dub 12 and he got scored a 42 and 43 back to back jumps... abm shouldve got like a 45 and 44 to get 3rd.
 
triples are just overrated, almost everyones doing them. I was all about style this year and landings played a huge factor.

also bummed schlopy got hurt, i wanted to go the future :(
 
Worst judging ever. Hands down. Henriks nosebutter triple was a double hand drag and had already been done last year. ABM gets underscored with a sw triple wobble 14 thats never been seen before. what the fuck.
 
Why was Jossi Wells in this competition, so disappointing compared to the others. Also when did he grow facial hair?
 
But so did Henrik...he pretty much did butter dub 12 blunts and switch butter dub 10s the whole time.

Harlaut absolutely killed it and won that first spot for himself, but I'm a little bummed he did it with pretty similar stuff to last year, minus the switch 10. A bunch of the other guys (Jossi, Vinni, ABM)

seemed to be pushing themselves (relative to their own abilities) so much more than Henrik did, hucking ridiculous new stuff. As contradictory as this is, Henrik seemed to keep things pretty tame and in control with respect to himself, and that's a huge testament to the level he's on. I just wish he would've hucked something that would've blown everyone away like his triple did last year.

 
Yeah, did I miss something special about those 12s? I can't see how they scored that well, because I didn't even think they were exceptionally well stomped. Dat switch dub misty 16 dub japan though....
 
He is sitting qualified first for slope tomorrow, that may have been in his head too

Still a switch butter trip would have been great
 
some of you guys are stupid as fuck. jizzing over everything and anything that henrik does. overscored on every jump IMO. Some of you guys hate on bobby and goepper for grabbing mute and going flippy? henrik nosebutters more than anyone mute grabs and his triple was just as flippy as goepper triple on slope course, to double hand drag.
 
Stock for henrik but how about the other athletes? How hard a trick is for an individual isn't what's scored.

PS ABM got robbed.
 
this. jossi the hipster kitty with his hood up, frogskins and no poles. and every time he had one of those near miss flails he just shrugged it off as if his life didnt just flash before his eyes. trying too hard

I did watch the qualifiers, great he made it to the finals, that's all that matters, u dont win anything for doing well in the qualifiers. You have to give it your all in the finals to win gold. He was just disappointing

 
Don't quote me on it, I'm fairly intoxicated and currently unable to review footage but I think Kai maybe did alleyoop dub 12s that got scored high
 
i quoted you on it. Nothing he did was alleyopp, you can't alleyopp a straight jump, are you trolling?
 
I agree he must be fucking high to think alley opp, but maybe he thought like carving one way but spinning the other.
