shit. x games just kinda snuck up. normally way more hype about it for a couple weeks before.
 
lol they replaced best trick for snowmobiles with a long jump. dont they realize thats how levi got hurt?

xgames are a joke now. lets get them back to travelling and including downhill mountain biking, rally cross in the snow, ice climbing.. seeing it as just another ski/snowboard pipe/slope contest is boring
 
Xgames sucks these days anyway. It's pretty much impossible to watch without muting the volume

FAKIE TO FORWARD 720. Also it seems that announcers with "cool accents" are better than people who know anything about the sports. And the good announcers are forced to announce like douches.

That said of course I'm going to check out the slope and big air. Hopefully they don't do a 3 hour special on the flying potato.
 
This is a little off topic but if anyone has Skate 3 for PS3 then you might wanna hear this.

There is a guy on there who makes all of the freeskiing courses in Park Builder and posts them online for people to download. He just posted the X games 2014 course a week ago.
 
I'm going to watch big air with the passion of the Super Bowl, I'm having a party and everything. I even made edollo cookies.

Not really. Something else would take it's place. There used to be several similar contests at least in the summer. I remember the first 1 and watched it religiously since the 2nds or 3rd.

It's evolved massively over the year. How a person views that depends on the individual. There are things I like and many things I don't like.

I watch it because I'll watch any of the few televised events on the sports I like not because I'm a huge fan of the contest these days.

 
My all time favourite game. Details on the course names or builders name? those things can be hard to find.
 
At some point in my life I hope I get the chance to work with some people who really put the effort into making a clean setup.

Espn app on there. It depends on your internet provider though. I moved to a new apartment during or just after the xgames. Went to watch the stuff and couldn't watch it until I moved to another spot for the summer.

I think with some providers you can live stream stuff, I'm not able to but I can watch the stuff after. Honestly the xgames and street league are the only interesting things on there at least to me. I'll watch some poker too and that's about it.

If you're having trouble finding them just add your interests or whatever to say action sports. Shitty thing is while it's loading they have clips they start showing. You'll turn it on to find out who one the slopes and that stupid chick will be dropping the results before you can even mute it.

 
What I don't understand is the "America's Navy Big Air". If our tax dollars fund the navy, and the navy sponsors the event, why isn't it American Tax Payers Big Air. Also why should an organization like that be able to sponsor an event? If you're depending on tax $ you shouldn't be able to put your name out there sponsoring an event.

I mean I understand it, they want all the little kids to think "OMG THE NAVY IS SO COOL I WANT TO JOIN" but it just seems kind of fucked. Also those commercials saying "America's Navy, A global force for good" which is such a bullshit commercial to run repeatedly.

no he hit the right side of the feature which is a step up to down bar. Im saying launching from the right platform to the middle part which was a gap to down bar. It looked like you might be able to slide the flat bar on the platform too.
 
if you have cable it will all on on ESPN3 which is free to watch on WatchESPN if you have a cable provider, if not call a buddy for his account email and watch it on your phone like me
 
its a pretty far gap and they would have to clear over the flat down that's on the left side of the monster box, i don't think anyone's gonna do it but it'd be cool to see someone try it
 
is it just me, or did the feed just stop working? Based on the "battery low" window that popped up and covered the screen during the Wells brothers' runs, I'd say that the host's computer died :(
