Probably gonna get a lot of hate on this one, but our community should go together and make a website with a map function like Google Earth, were users can submit urban locations with pictures and a short description and they get marked on the map. So when you press it, the pictures and description and everything pops up.
So now all you douchebags are going to say: "If I find a sick rail I´m not gonna fucking share it with the entire world." Okay. Fine. But if your not a serious film crew, what´s the big deal? And if you are, what´s the problem with sharing once you´re done shooting? When you´re the ones who did it first, then the rail is already "yours" anyway. I myself am the guy behind a up and coming skifilm company, I know I´d be cool with it.
 
What's the point in designing such a site when you could just do one on google maps then allow others to add spots onto it?
 
I had no idea one could do that!You can just put up a site with a standard, empty google maps and let people fire away and add spots?
Let´s do it!
 
Except that one had 3 rails in it and 5 pictures of trams, pluss no description and no accurate adress. nah, we need something better.
 
I´m actually going ahead and making this site. There will be no map function exactly as described, but it´ll be better than nothing. Just adding all the ones I know of, PM me if you´ve got any.
