www.supernova.org becuase kazaa won't last forever

so first u need to download bit tourant (http://prdownloads.sourceforge.net/bittorrent/bittorrent-3.3.exe) then just go to www.supernova.org and download shit!

their music collection isn't hat great yet but everything actually works (for the most part) they have alot of good newer games and programs though

when u start to download somthing wait for a while it takes a minit or so to start and unfortuantly once it does start it is not that fast.

the thing is, I could never have downloaded some of those new games off kazaa at all...

and it is not that slow, it is just that Need For Speed Underground is 1.5 gigabytes

(and I have Kazaa like ++ and still use it often) but you have to realize that kazaa will probably be put out of buisness especially if people stop going on it.

bt is just as bad as kazaa, no wait, worse because it takes 4 times the bandwith it says its taking

 
It's great for brand new files, when the unreleased Invader Zim episodes came out I was getting 200kbs since 60 other people were uploading and downloading.

When a file gets old the seeds and downloaders start to disappear and it slows down a lot though.

 
need for speed underground is the sickest racing game ever, get it no matter how long it takes. playing it online is fucking sick too

WOW this program is awesome im downloading need for speed at 1k/sec and theres only 300 HOURS LEFT! So if i leave my comp on for a few weeks I might get the game AWESOME!

If you're behind a router you need to forward ports 6881 - 6889 to your computer... and you also have to give it time, the download may take awhile to pick up speed...

Bit Torrent is not really for the casual internet user.

well other people are jews im downloading at 20 now and uploading at 60k but I dont understand what im uploading I never even specified which folders/files I would allow

You're uploading the file that you're downloading... thats how bittorrent works, as you download more of a file, you upload what you've downloaded to other users... When you finish the download, keep the window open to let other users download off you, its what keeps bittorrent alive.

only the idiots are selfish, bittorrent survives pretty well because of the open source, NON selfish type of people which make up its user base, thats why I said bittorrent is NOT for the casual user

ok i downloaded need for speed and it came in two folders Cd1 and Cd2 each folder is packed with .r02 files and one .RAR file for each folder. I extracted them using some program and it was asking me to specify file associations and shit. I'm not computer illiterate but this shit is confusing can someone tell me real quick how they did it.

I extracted both the .RAR files from the two folders into a seperate folder and know there are two .Bin files in that folder and I have no Idea what to do with them

bearshare is FILLED with spyware...

Those two BIN files are CD images... you burn them to a disc using Nero or whatever you use to burn CD's

I burn them onto a disc? like a cd then what do I do play it in my computer that doesnt seem to make sence since its already on my computer why would i need to burn it to use it

bt has been around a while and isnt as reliable as kazaa k++ - if you think your speeds are way faster on bt you are wrong. it uses Kb/s to measure speed whilst kazaa uses KB/s. there is a difference (kilobytes and kilobits_

 
dude, ISO file's are images of a CD. You pretty much have to burn them to a cd to install them. There is a program:

www.undisker.com (pretty sure thats the site)

that allows you to 'extract' the files from the iso file without burning them to a cd. It's easier to just burn it to a cd and then install it from the cd though.

Im going to ask this question here since it sort of relates to the thread topic. Can someone give me a name of a mid-level video editing program. I want something that is easy to use but isnt so simple that I cant do anything with it. Also I would like to know if I could download such a program on kazaa (because I dont have kazaa). Thanks for any help.

 
Use Nero... click File, click Burn Image... find the Bin file, select it, burn the file, its that simple...

and Kazaa Lite K++ whateverthefuck is pure shit. The whole network is one fucked up mess with trashed files, virii, and mislabeledness... Bittorrent is far more reliable, you get what you ask for pretty much...

video man - use premiere you can get it off kazaa and its easy enough. unless you have a mac then use final cut apparantly. i wouldnt know though.

 
pinnicle is easyer than primere.

ice-is-scary, search google for 'eed for speed underground cd key' you should be able to get what u want. or try searching kazaa. or try www.astlavista.com (I think htat is it)

The last thing I downloaded off of suprnova was the warcraft 3 expansion. It took 2 days. When It was done, I burned it and tried to install, only to find it was the Italian version. It refused adamantly to install. So I wasted a disc and a lot of time.

Suprnova sucks, and will suck until it speeds up.

 
If Bit Torrent is not fast for you, you aren't doing it right. End of story.

yeah i got bit torrent. when u download stuff just ignore the time remaining cause it speeds up gradually.

 
Andy, how do you do it right then, so that it's fast? Cause if i could get it goin at 100 it'd be awesome.
