Don't go to Western, theres no frats, shitloads of hippies, and no high speed lifts at baker. I'm transferring to UW, it sucks here.

yeah im kinda worried about the hippies. my second choice also. is the party scene pretty lame or what? the last thing im worried about is baker. id rather go on slow lifts then wait in a line that takes longer then the ride. maybe ill try and transfer next year or the year after. UCLA sounds sick.

 
the hippies aren't a problem as long as you don't live in the fairhaven dorms. and besides the hippies keep the herb connection primo up here. great school for engineering, becoming a teacher or working with the enviroment. party scene is pretty solid its what you make of it their are always parties every weekend all over town and the cops are usually pretty chill. and if you get bored go t canada its only 25 mins away. western has a wakeboard and waterski teams so suck that most other schools. no one really cares about football so not over run with jocks and for the lack of frats its nice cuz its just one less click and gathering of stupid ass holes the deal with. I really like it here at wwu and in bellingham its been nothng but good times and i've meet so many awesome people

Seriously though, Western is a great school. I was being sarcastic about the frats and the lifts.

Bellingham is a really chill town and there are always parties to go to and once you turn 21 or get a fake ID, the bars are the best part of the town.

The ski scene and weekday vibe up at baker is awesome there is no shortage of people to ride with up here.

You will definately have a lot of fun.

 
i like it up here, baker to the bay i can't get enough, just don't ever swim in the bay though its like swiming in toxic waste dump.
