G-Dubs: Israel belongs to the Jews. We were there long before the Palestinians came on the scene. When the Assyrians decimated us, we still clung to our land. When the Babylonians carried us off, we still clung to and returned to our land. When the Romans destroyed the Holy City of God, we still clung to our land. Need I mention how many times over the past thousand years between Titus' sacking of Yerushalayim and the Balfour Declaration Jews have made aliyah to Israel? Nothing has ever seperated our hearts from Israel and nothing will. No one will ever destroy the flame of Zionism that lives in every Jew. That land is ours and will always be ours - end of story. If terrorists continue to attack innocent Jews in Israel and now launch massive, cowardly attacks on America because she supports Israel, they will eventually pay. End of story. Any group of people that consider suicide bombers to be heroes is sick. They celebrated the death of countless innocent Americans. They put their children on the front lines (this has been recorded in international news). I have no sympathy for them. God bless America and even George Bush as they attempt to track down the perpetrators and bring them to justice. And for all the innocent martyrs: haShem yigam damo - may God avenge their blood

Well Gregg I certainly see some typical thinking going on here, especially of anyone who has ever read a Jewish newspaper. I have a quick question first though, you are Jewish and Black?? There is nothing wrong with it, just unusual.

Well for those who really wanted to dig for there news, yesterday Israeli terrorists bombed a Palestinian school. Israeli terrorism is just as frequent as Arab terrorism, but since so many Jews live in America we never talk about their downsides. I have personally been strongly against U.S support of Israel for about 5 years, and I now feel even stronger that it is vital that America stop support of Israel. My dad's theory of all this, which isn't a bad one just kind of far out, was that the Israeli government set up this entire thing so as to gain U.S support in an all out war against the Arab world. We all know that Israel wouldn't be unwilling to go to this level because they were of course asked to leave Human Rights meetings last week in Durban, South Africa for their record of human rights violations. Much of the world has realized how dirty the hands of Israel are, I just wish America would open their eyes and realize the same thing.

I wouldn't go so far as to say America is evil. The US has become such a giant that when it becomes involved in something, it's automatically assumed that we are on the right side, and fighting for the right thing. Of course, this isn't correct- the US government has made many, many mistakes, and will certainly make many more. Does this justify our being labelled 'evil?'

I accept the fact that the majority of Americans are, in fact, ignorant and naive. I also accept the fact that the majority of Canadians are ignorant and naive, as are the majority of Mexicans, Brazilians, Portuguese, Russians, and Swedish. Labeling Americans 'ignorant and naive' is the same as labelling Arabs 'terrorists' and 'towelheads.' Let's try to stay away from things like that. I admit many of my fellow Americans have said some violent and hateful things, and made baseless accusations, but I guarantee that the same would happen if a couple of planes took out Vancouver.

I would like to see some evidence of Israeli 'human rights violations.' It disturbs me to see an international conference once again turning to the traditional scapegoats- Jews. Palestinians have been responsible for AT LEAST half of the violence that has taken place in the Middle East. I remind you the Israel has already ceded the West Bank and the Gaza Strip to Palestinians. I regret the fact the a school was hit by Israeli bombs- I also regret the fact the Palestinian children are getting killed by assaulting armed Israeli troops with rocks. We may relate Palestine's struggle for independence with the US's struggle for independence, but as far as I know, no American during the Revolutionary War strapped on a bomb and walked into a crowded pub full of civilians.

Barak and Arafat made several attempts at peace, all of which were destroyed by Palestinian violence. In fact, the Palestinians almost overthrew Arafat simply for trying to make peace with Israel. Arabs have been the aggressors in every war, and almost every conflict, that's taken place in recent history. It's not Israel's fault that it's damn good at defending itself.

To help those affected by this horrible attack Russia has decided to take the states of Massachusets, Connecticut, New York, Maryland, and Virginia and give them to anyone who has ever made residence in Manhattan Or D.C throughout the history of their family. All those who currently live there and can not trace their roots back to those states must immediately leave. Those who have been forced to leave will be economically, politically, and religiously ruined for generations. All people living in this new land who are of African, Native-American, Hispanic, or any other non-white decent will be exiled since we know at some point a few hundred years ago lots of people hated these groups. As the people try and get back to their homeland to worship their religion or collect their belongings, or simply return to their homes they will be met by the most technologically advanced missiles and helicopters to shoot them if they protest peacefully or violently. They will recieve the newest aircraft and nuclear weapons to waive at you so you will not make any attempts to recover your homeland. There are many millions of you, but a few thousand decide they will act out violently. Now people around the world think that all of your people are a disgrace to humanity, and the only option is to bomb and kill them all.

Well Kamikaze and other friends, that is what has happened to the Palestinians for the last 50 years, just think about it here.

 
Gregg taht is quite a hypocritical statement to make as u sit in ur home taht is built on the land that once belonged to the native americans. Just think about that. Btoh Nations in Northern America have been part of the mass genocide of many peoples. This is not our homeland we werent here first we have no rights to it whatsoever

we could talk about all the crual things america has done over the past 250 years but then lets look at other countries. Does the entire world look at spain and cal them cruel for what they did to the people in South America nad Mexica? they destroyed entire cultures and millions of lives getting gold. But this fact is almost never brought up. Also lets think of all the good things america has done. When there is a famine in africa we send food. a natural disaster anywehre in the world and we send military forces to assist the peole with water food and assistance. Think of the huge amounts of lives that would be sacrificed without the help of the US

I heard a thing on the radio today that pissed me off. Some guys called in a said his family moved here from mexico, and if the US got into a war, he and all his friends were going back to Mexico because the US hasn't done shit for them. Anyone else who feels this way, I will drive you to the border and kick your ass out because if you dont support this country, you shouldnt be here.

labelling americans 'ignorant and naive' is not the same as labelling arabs 'terrorists' and 'towelheads' at all.. how can u even say that? u begin by saying that u agree with me, but then go off and say that by saying this is on a parrallel to making racist remarks?! u make no sense at all?

also, i don't think it's very likely that planes would take out vancouver, because canada has never been a country to stick their noses in other people's business like that of the united states. time after time they have occupied countries for different reasons, rarely have these reasons not benefitted the united states in many ways. as you can see, i feel quite opposed to the ways of the us, and support the differences between canada and america.

2)America should make reperations to the peoples that it has wronged, but the Durban conference was too focused on labeling Zionism as racism to address any other issue

3)I read American, Israeli, *and* Arabic papers regarding the situation in Israel and I have *never* seen any account of the IDF attacking a school or other such location

4)Israel never told the Palestinians they had to leave the land

5)There was never a country called 'Palestine.' Up until the Balfour Declaration (in modern historical context), the land was controlled by the Brittish, and before that the Ottomans (BTW, the Brittish did a number on Yemen as well).

6)I have not always been a Hawk: that was a recent change to due the way things have developed. I used to be a Dove and had considered joining the Neturai Karta.

I'm sorry sweetcoz- I just took offense to your remark. A lot of Americans may be ignorant and naive... and many many are not. I thought that it was a pretty general statement to make against an entire nation.

About Palestine- I've been doing some research g-dubs and you are right. They have every right to hate America. But for them to be celebrating in the streets because thousands of innocent Americans have died... does that honestly appear right to you? That's the one thing that I'm stuck on- no matter what, these people should NOT be celebrating over this. I don't think that even ignorant and naive Americans would be happy if thousands died today in the West Bank. I seriously doubt that Israelis were overjoyed by the news of that bomb hitting the Palestinian school.

Israel has conceded the West Bank and Gaza Strip; I know that Iraeli leadership has considered Palestinian sovereignity in the past. I think that their main concern is that, once Palestine is a nation, won't it promptly ally with all Arab countries and start another war on Israel?

The Jews fled to Palestine because they had nowhere else to go- and g-dubs, Palestinians may have been persecuted against for the last fifty years, but Jews have not been safe for two thousand years. Think about that.

Overall, I think that Israel has been doing its best to try to calm the situation, but ceasefires and promises keep on being broken, by both sides. What do you suggest? Withdraw all U.S. support?The fighting will still go on, and I don't expect Israel to collapse as long as any Jew is alive within it.

and, sweetcoz, what I meant was that a lot of people are ignorant and naive and patriotic. But I think that on the whole, most people are like that. And if you don't believe in your country, then why do you have a country anyway?

i do believe in the ways of my country, i'm canadian. and not everybody in the world is as patriotic as the citizens of the united states.

ok so you are against protecting a country?

israel would be demolished and overrun with terrorist acts by islamic extremist groups even moreso than it is now. by supporting israel the US is simply allowing the people there to live.

and as for the whole "israeli terrorism" thing, give your fucking head a shake! the main reason i have respect for israel is that they don't spend weeks or months with negotiating with terrorists that have taken israelis hostage. they go in and do what is necessary to bring their people home. they've got more balls than any westernized country!!

i don't agree with a lot of things the US does but supporting israel is something i do agree with!

 
that would suck if they drafted people, fuck i could not see my self in a couple years or anyone i know being in war. it should be like 25 to be drafted, 18 is wayyyyy too young.
