My stepfarter was just telling me that he is sure that there will be a WW III he said that all hte middle east will get together and prob come over here. imagine that i tihnk it would be awsome u can shoot those arabs in the head...who thinks that we would see it in our time? i think we could possibly not but we could

nah man, the middle east hate each other, theres wars between them going on. A guy from CBC explained it to me that a WWIII is impossible, well very unlikely for the time being. Your stepfather needs to get his shit straight.
 
yes, world war three would be fabulous. 'they' said that the cold war however many years ago was capable of escalating to a full scale war which would end in partial destruction of life on Earth, exterminaton of human life or at LEAST, the partial collapse of civilization. that involved how many people? look, little Georgie is doing it all by himself. however, it can also be argued that asteroids, technological difficulties, pandemics and climate changes (duh) could turn the world as we know it into a chaotic world war three. possible? absolutley. probable? be realistic. if not, i propose, is it possible that in fact the cold war WAS world war three, and the war on terror is world war FOUR?
 
why would they bother starting a war with us? all they would have to do is persuade saudi arabia that they're better off not being part of our nuclear umbrella, and to pull their oil investments out of our economy. boom, there goes america. our economy couldnt come close to taking that hit without totally collapsing.

Yeah thats basically what will happen... they'll come over to the US in a series of small boats, and we'll let them land. They line up and every racist fucker like you pays $5 to shoot them in the head. WWIII in a nutshell.

People like you me want to leave the US. DO YOU KNOW WHAT A WORLD WAR IS LIKE??? It's like you're fucking excited about it. People fucking die in war. Families are torn apart. Countries destroyed. And all you want to do is "shoot those arabs in the head". If there is ever a world war again, hopefully you'll be old enough to be the first one out there fighting and "get shot in the head".
 
israel said that if it was on the verge of being wiped out that they would take the whole entire middle east with them. its called the Samson Option.

Samson, a biblical figure, was being attacked by the philistines, so rather being killed he says "let my soul die with the philistines" so he rushes back to his temple and has the philistines rush to kill him there, he pushes the temple pillars out with his hands, killing himself and the philistines in the process.

not apply this to israel as samson, and the philistines as the islamic-middle east.

There is no way that the middle east would ever join up against us. they have been fighting each other for 1000s of years and now they are gonna get over their beefs just to attack us! please! howwould they get here? boatr? swim? most middle eastern countries barley have an airforce, if that! their initail attack would be sooo small that we would wipe them the fuck off the earth!

A Middle East WWIII will never happen. Political, economic, and social climates are not in any state for such an event.

They fight amongst each other...and have been doing so for thousands of years. The only reason that area has ever been united is because conquerors subdued the region with a large military. While that is the case with much of the rest of the world, other places have now learned to cooperate economially. A united Middle East would last 10 minutes unless they are physically forced.

Islam is the biggest ball-and-chain of that region. As a result of Muslim beliefs, most of those nations are fundamentalist isolationists. It's a typical "old world" way of thinking and is very outdated in the modern world.

They collectively have virtually no economy. They could not financially support any large scale war. They have oil...they also have...uh...*crickets chirping*. Their combined GDP is still smaller than the US. They would run out of money in heartbeat.

On a military scale they would flat out lose. The whole of the Middle East could not defeat the US in a war. Let alone the US and Europe combined. Hell, they can't even kick out Israel. In fact, Israel has knocked them around several times.

It would be more likey to see a war with China, though thats also highly unlikely.
