not exactly in PA but 6 miles over the boarder. Anyway i jsut came here as a freshmen and i have the choice of either skiing 7 springs(hour and 15min or so away) or wisp(40min). I have been skiing 7 springs for the past 4 years. Anyone go to wisp? hows the park? would you guys drive the extra 35min two times or more a week just for 7 springs park?

yes it West Virginia University, I wish i could go to snowshoe but its to far away to drive twice a week:/

Wiap is pretty cool, they got some nice big jumps and a descent mountain but it seems like everytime ive been there it was only sunny 4 days of the 100+ ive spent there

 
dude, wvu is the shit. thats where i went last year, but of course i went to ski at 7 springs b/c its by my house, but definitely just go to wisp, its pretty easy to get to from there

ah man...last year in march when there was no snow there, but snow at my house, i packed 4 coolers full of it and took it down and had a rails session on the mountainlair green

i go to frostburg which is 40 min east on 68 from morgan town but id say wisp for 2 - 3 times a week but def go up to 7 springs this winter

 
Dude, Snowshoe isn't that far. It's not more than an hour and a half.

--But as the technology to build highways and telephones has crept north of the American border, so too have illicit gambling, crack-whores and Shopping Cart abuse gangs.
 
dude i just drove there last weekend for there opening and its atleast two and a half and thats speeding

mapquest shows it to be 3 and a half
