WV and VA skiers

had a snowshoe pass for like 2 years. been to winterplace/wintergreen. had to leave for better conditions though i do plan to return to snowshoe this year for a few days. i kind of miss it
 
I ski the shoe and all the other wv resorts as well as Maryland. I dont ski VA resorts so i cant agree if they are crappy or not like you say.

i hit that up last year and it was an awesome weekend. i couldnt go this year cause im graduating in december and im swamped with work. judging by the setup and the skill level i saw on those vids, though, i woulda been knocked out in the prelims anyway. i dont think id want to hit a stairset with a lip entry on the first day of the season though.
but yah, i ski wintergreen and it sucks. sometimes liberty when im at my girlfriend's place for the weekend, and it's much sweeter. moving out west this year though, so bye bye VA!!!! wooooo!!!
massanutten can be decent though...sometimes...i guess. and all the WV hills are a huge step up from VA. PA is best though, imo.
 
wintergreen most of the time since it's closer to where i live but lately they havent been doin so good...massanutten's also a good place..more park

I ski masanutten and anywhere in wv when i can afford it snowshoe is pretty expensive though
 
$10 SNOWSHOE TICKET

For the people that are close the Kroger in Elkins does a promotion every year im sure they will again this year but if you buy 4 12 packs of Pepsi you get a free pass to snowshoe without rentals. you cant use it on holidays but its a day pass for $10 and you have plenty of beverage for the trip home. Sorry if they dont do it again but im sure they will.
 
So they got a park now with some dope skiers or...? i havn't really been to any wv or va resorts in 5 years but while groin up I went to snowshoe about 5 times a winter and winterplace sometimes also
 
I started skiing snowshoe last year, and I think I'll hit up winterplace a couple times this year because its like 30 min from school and my friend said students can get a ticket for like 18 bucks or something, on weekdays. When I'm home, I hit up Liberty, Whitetail, and Seven Springs sometimes.
 
I learned to ski (and skied for my first 4 years)at Timberline and Cannan Valley resorts in WV if anyone has ever been there.
 
Yo son , I ski snowshoe. I'm so down to ski with anyone, all my friends snowboard so i'm lookin for some more people to ride with who ski. But if you're down to hit up snowshoe, pm me an I'll probably be down. I'm lookin to hit snowshoe, and winterplace up a lot this winter. I heard Winterplace is like 40 min from where I go to school and has good deals for students on weekdays, so I might be hitting it up to get some practice during the week.
 
i ski massanutten this year because i go to school right near there (jmu). i went there on tuesday and it was really fun. i was the only skier in the park all day, but there were some cool boarders, and everything was set up pretty nice
 
well since then I have gotten a job (finally been like 6 months and I originally left CO for some girl...fuckin stupid i know).

Now i am about to get a ski pass to wintergreen since I live in norfolk/vabeach and thats about the only fucking place close enough I can drive up weekends and on my days off. Also might visit massanuten sometimes and ride with my cousin(boarder) if i got time...havn't been there in 5-6 years but apparently wintergreen park is not bad

anyone in norfolk area looking for rides on weekend to ski or board?
