Got ranked really high on Pitchfork's 100 best tracks of 2K10 & I think the only dubstep song on the list, what do yall think?
Boring, predictable, really didn't do anything for me. I kept skipping through looking for something different and exciting to happen to break up the pace a little.
That's not really dubstep, it's just a beat with chopped up samples. Unless there's something I don't get about the definition of dubstep (which is possible).

The dub beat is what defines it.
It's a great song, super refreshing compared to most of the shit getting produced nowadays. *cough flux, cough datsik, cough bar 9... the list could go on

flux was fresh as fuck though for a while.
now it's kinda all the same.

word. flux uses that same fucking wobble in every song, and its getting old.
and bar 9 has just got lazy. all his songs are structured the same. i usually always include one of his songs in a mix now just for that reason, so easy to blend with other songs. but yeah, they need to step there shit back up to what they used to be
