I don't really think this is the right time but i figure i will try,

I recently got a brand new 2008 Fox DHX 5.0 with adjustable pro pedal, from fox after they couldn't service my vanilla RC. Now its almost time for the snow to fall and i need a new pair of skis more then this brand new shock. The i2i is 7.785, and it has all the adjust ability that a top of the line shock should have. These go for about 500 bucks new and its a 2008 model. I have used it once, just to ride around the neighborhood. I would like to trade for skis, around 170cm, with bindings. Send me a PM and i will be able to send you some pictures, Thanks for looking!

dam man, if i didnt just pck up a sunday i would do it. best shock i have ever ridden. more world cup podiums than you can count. Anyway, if i were you, put it on the MTBR classifieds, and pinkbike, if you havent done so already. just beware of scammers on pinkbike.

I'd try selling that on mtbr or pinkbike. Don't expect to get much more than $300 for it though--since the Rocco and Double Barrel came out the DHX has fallen behind a bit Definitely a nice shock (I own two), but they're not in huge demand right now.

yeah thanks for the heads up. i am gonna try those site but i figured i would try here because i need skis anyway

i dont know if i would use "falling behind". i have ridden both the rocco and the double barrel. i am not company loyal at all, but the fox is still my favorite. The double barrel is wayyy to damp for me. in a very quick bumby section im out of shock at the end. And the rocco, i really didnt enjoy this shock no platform wat so ever. it felt like a pogo stick. especilly on a bike that doesnt have a peal platform. like, on a sunday, itd be fine, but on any single pivot bike i jut found it absorb allll my pedaling. so i think that fox is still at the top of game for now.

Noooo way man. IMO, the Rocco is a piece of garbage. They blow seals, have little adjustability, no platform, and I have seen my coach actually eject the rebound knob off it while riding.

Weird, I guess it must just be preference then. I've only ridden the Rocco WC, but it was definitely smoother than the DHX on my Ventana. For pedaling I wouldn't get the WC, but they make the TST-R with a platform for that. I'm not saying the DHX is bad--I've been happy with both of mine--I just don't like how I can't dial out the spiking I get on big bumps when I'm going fast.

would've been all over this several months ago. but yeah mtbr is much better than pinbike and ebay is always good for mt biking gear

hey man,

try bustedspoke.com there was some one looking for one a few weeks ago. i just got rid of my demo 8 that had a 5.0 on it. best rear shock i have ever ridden. great for racing

will
