so here i am going to school 4000 miles away in vermont. pretty much as far away from alaska as i can get...people make no sense to me. so i'm checking out the snow report at stowe...which is a sick mountain by the way. i love this glades skiing that we don't really get up in ak. but back to the point...the snow report is 'packed powder'. what the fuck is packed powder?? isn't it either powder or it's not? packed powder is...snow. nothing special. what the fuck?

 
Holy toledo we made up a new snow condition.... it is called marketing fool. What sounds better to a tourist... packed powder or heavy ass packed snow. You figure it out.

 
packed powder is clever trade secret of East coast mountains they go up on the mountains and instead of groomign them they pack powder on ice patches til it looks liek tis groomed, nad then its truns into ice as soon as suckers try to ki over it

packed powder is alyeska trying to make the snow sound good when it sucks, but go anyways itll be fun
