i got my ski pass pulled because i jumped 7 fucking feet off the lift for my phone. they pulled it for an entire year and if i go back i'll get arrested for trespassing. this is bullshit >=[
 
dude if sombody sees u do it then they think they can, and eventually everyone is doing it and it is a lot of paper work for the liftys

so sry to say this but be carful
 
Shut up. You broke the rules, suck it up. Should have picked it up on the run down. I have two strikes on my PC pass for doing absolutely nothing. They could have said you jumped off the lift onto a little girl or that you were skiing down the run too fast and have done the same thing.
 
same thing happened to me except instead of my phone i was getting an epic pow run.

Um yes, ski resort managers and ski patrol can take you pass for anything they deem "inappropriate" or worthy of taking your pass. Basically they can take it for no reason if they really want to, its private property. Believe me, i went through about 3 hours of bullshit at PC about all of this. Just read the back of your season pass, it says it.

And nic, i would probably be pissed but i wouldn't bitch about it, jumping off a lift is a legit reason to get your passed pull, and im positive everyone knows that and is aware of it.
 
Just hate how some kids bitch how they get in trouble and how its not fair but they don't seem to understand what they did was against the rules and if you get caught they aren't just going to go "oh you were just getting your phone!". Ski resorts shit over liability, its a huge part of their budget and if they fuck up they could loose insurance. Telling an insurance company that people can break rules and risk getting themselves hurt and others doesn't usually go well. Kids just need to realize that the resort isn't trying to fuck them over for pulling their pass when they jump off the chair, they are just enforcing the rules. To the thread creator, suck it up and take the consequences of your actions, it's something called responsibility and you will eventually figure it out if you haven't yet. Call me an ass hole, don't care, just telling the truth.
