this is fucked, nobody told me that if you don't get 35% in the course you're failing then you have to completely redo it. I was getting 37 in math and so i decided fuck it ill use the exam time to sleep and what do you fucking know now i'm supposed to re-do it. But thats not even the problem i suck at school i hate school the only reason im there is because im forced and im not taking a fucking course over. So, basically i want to drop out and wtf? my counsellor has fucked me over in life and i want to kill him. i want to fucking kill him but i dont know where he lives wtf. so basically im fucked for life.

go ahead call my immature, i have learning disabilities that im being diagnosed for right now so have fun with that but i needed to vent
 
you shouldn't of just given up even if you had a 37, in a way you fucked yourself, not so much your councilor fucking you up

when you fail classes you retake them, and learning disabilitys my ass.... didnt get beat enough as a child
 
no thats not it he gave me like 4 hours of detention last week that tends not to make you want to do anything for him and what were the detentions for, CLEANING OUT MY LOCKER

Then all your options end up in failing the class, try studying? You know, think of studying as cheating because your answers are all in your head. Thats pretty badass gangster shit right?
 
thank you for being reasonable, i didn't think to study because to pass i would need like 100 percent on the exam and i had 36 or 37 so i didn't really care.

but its funny how they couldnt tell me this before the exam.

also funny how one of the first canadians to enter this thread gave a reasonable answer

The only option you really have if you don't want to fuck up your schedule for next year is take summer school. it's not as bad as everyone makes it up to be. you knock out the classes in somethin like 6 weeks, and now atleast you have some motivation to get it done
 
dude... uhh sorry to tell you this but... if you get an F which is failing, which is not passing, on a required 9th grade math class your gonna be the sophomore in algebra 1 again, sucks for you.

but its not a big secret or anything people that fail classes retake them, in life though, you get fired you cant be all like oops, you never told me not to shit on the floor, its all your fault etc...
 
haha, well us Canadians do our best, but i digress. Now take into consideration that i live in Toronto. But a friend of mine that i was in math class failed grade 11 university math. Now he was going to be away ( vacation) during summer school, so he signed up for a course at a place so that on the TTC you go to egliton station and walk 5 minutes east and you go there once a day for a month. Now this may seem like a waste of half your summer but stop for a second. You have 2 more years of math infront of you, my firend found that doing it over and focusing just on math for a solid month, and not having any other subjects to worry about made him understand the math, and it has really benefitted him in grade 12 he ended up getting a higher mark this year in g12 advanced functions, so it definetly changed the way he thinks about math. Now in your position, im sure you could take it, because it the FULL credit, so this would work perfectly for you. But where abouts do you live?
 
dude you have it lucky if 35 is a fail here a 60 is a fail its kinda common sense

okay well maybe the dude wants to change his life around, at least give him the chance, many people have changed their lifestyle positively, so just give some positive reinforcement

haha, you just repeated what i said, 35 or lower you have to retake the whole course over (i was assuming that everyone know 50/(american)60 or lower is a fail

on another note showing up high all the time is a good thing i'd rather do that and go to summerschool than fail sober lol

dude, i know what summerschool is im saying if you were in canada with 13% you wouldn't have the option of going to summerschool its mandatory to take the whole course over again FUCK.

also you cannot say healthcare in Canada sucks, you live in america ours is payed for up here
 
So i go to school kind of near you and have to say, ure one dumb fucking kid. I know a kid who shows up completely ripped every day, does every drug u can think of and STILL got 60% in math this year. seriously, just man up and study, it isnt hard
 
You're like 15 and don't live in Canada how extensive could your knowledge of Canadian healthcare and schooling be?

To the thread creator, my mom teaches high school students with learning disabilities and most of them are fully capable of passing a grade 9 math course. It simply requires slightly more effort, which apparently you made none of...
 
haha yah it would take some time but isnt alg just simple shit like those kinda problems?

like 2x+2y=20 or something like that? and then you have to graph the points or w/e

dude i went to a gay ass really academic private school thats in canada, so wed have around the same curiculum(sp), if not harder, and we never even had to solve for two variables in grade 9. its easy as hell, but i doubt they even had to do that
 
Who fucking cares about learning disabilities. You said it yourself: you slept during the exam. Guessing by that, your study and school habits are really shitty. If you have any "disability" it's probably being too fucking lazy and apathetic to realize the importance of education.

Take the course over again, like you need to do. You're not some unique jackass who all of a sudden has to do something over again cause you fucked it up.

Make some sacrifices: you might need to actually STUDY or do some HOMEWORK. It really isn't that fucking hard, but it really creates dialectical tensions, and that is something that everybody, not just you, needs to fucking figure out.

Stop trying to put the blame on other things and other people. It sounds like you're a fuck up, straight up. Screw having a "learning disability." Tons of people that have had such "disabilities" have done some crazy and great things (hell, some girl just south of you did the seven summits with some "learning disability" by 21). Also, it isn't your counselor's fault that you might need to take the class again. While he is there, he has to overlook a shitload of students, and realistically, the bind you're in is totally your fault. Welcome to life, bitch.
