well aint this some shit.. i thouht this inversion bullshit was supposed to blow away. where the fucks the SNOW. i want to ski dammit... and im not driving up 2 hours on my own for a shitty day
 
FUCK HIGH FREEZING LEVELS!!! This is driving me nuts. Another shitty fucking season. Why whenever there is snow does it have to be like 5 degrees?
 
I'm so pissed. How the fuck can this happen 2 years in a row. It's not even worth the drive up from Van is it?
 
Nope..but then don't bother going to Seymour, last word I heard is that they're closed. Talked to a girl who works at Cypress, and they're shit out of snow too. As for Grouse, well, if you're not 100% over that shithole by now, you deserve to ski rocks and mud.

Fuck this shit, I shoulda went home for xmas. To think I passed up 2 weeks of homecooked meals, free laundry, friends, family, and easy living to work in a ski shop and attempt to find somewhere within 2 hours of Vancouver to ski, only to have it completely fucking backfire. FUCK.

god hates us, its official. if that is the case i propose war on god, how you ask? mass genocide, its the most physically exhausting activity there is, next to soccer. therefore, if you all go out and kill at least 5 people, it will start snowing.
 
2 days ago it rained on the whole mountain. since then from solar coaster up its been snowing. there was a foot and a half in the trees beside the park. nice heavy snow to fill shit in. pipe was sick today. supposedly before the 90 kmh winds closed down the alpine you could ski nice light shit up top
 
Whistler was dope today. Peak opened for about an hour, and I skied the cirque, which was good but no vis, and then West Cirque To Christmas Tress, which was epic, about 40 cm in christmas trees and no other tracks! Im sure the locals are toast by now though.
 
o god...why did I not resist coming on this forum while I was away far from here, where the skiing will suck too and I was hoping to come home to Whistler powder...but FUCK, this blows, it better change and dump before the 5th
 
I wouldn't say Whistler was sick today. It was blowing fucking hard and the powder was really really heavy. If you went below the Red Chair on Whis or Catskinner on Blackcomb it was raining.

That being said, up higher you could find about a foot of heavy pow, which was still fun. But changing elevations plus super wind made it only so-so. BBQ and Hot tub afterwards was the highlight. Hopefully they do get more tonight and somehow the 30-40mm of RAIN (2200m freezing level) forecasted for Saturday turns into snow.
 
pretty decent today before i hurt my back in fraggle... got first chair up crystal.... pretty cool, no line up liftie was turning ppl away saying it was closed for avy work when it was like a 10min wait. aired a small cliff landed a bit flat 1 ski broke through the rain crust and caught...not cool. fair bit of snow in there, glacier opened up right after too... damn.
