We're working on an effective way to cap those ads much more, so they're not displaying all the time.

 
you're working on it? wasn't that the point of the beta release...so you could work on it then?! what were you doing the past few months? just put up the old version again. I realize you need ads but i don't want to watch a 30 second add to watch a 15 second video. it's ridiculous.

log in multiple times a day. I just want the old system back and i was

giving my feedback....hence the name of this forum.
 
The old video section was 999999999x better. It was simple and effective. Most videos don't even have a preview in the box on the right, its just ugly
 
amen brother, shits weak. gotta find a new way of advertising. i can understand an add maybe every 5 vidoes you watch or only after the first video... but its super annoying. never had a probelm with anything on the site, i love this shit, but not to fond of the adds.
 
Look you guys have to realise this isn't going to happen. EVER. End of story.

Now, what CAN happen is making the new section look and function a lot like the old one. Don't like the big thumbnails? Ok, we'll make 'em smaller.

Want to download the videos like before instead of watching them embedded? No problem, you can STILL DO THIS IN THE NEW SECTION. We'll maybe make that a little more prominent so you can see it.

Hate the ads? Well, we're implementing a frequency cap so that you only ever see 1 ad every 5-10 minutes of video viewing. So if you watch a whole bunch of shorter vids back to back, you won't be assaulted.

We already disabled ads for videos under 30 seconds.

Work with us... we can get this thing right. I'm sorry that the change has been so painful, but nobody gave us feedback on the beta section. We used the feedback we got, but clearly nobody took beta testing seriously.

 
i trust you guys can make it work, the only beef i have with it is the top rated thing has become average rated, which makes a 9.8 with 200 votes lower than a 10 with 1 vote. i no likey
