The Vermonster? WTF did they seriously spend time trying to come up with the shittiest name ever, cause if thats what they were goin for they hit it outta the park.  Honestly it doesnt matter what the name of the park is as along as its decent which I doubt after last year.  And The Au Natural park, they barely had enough snow to keep one park decent last year, and now they are gonna have one with no manmade snow, ya ok.  They claim it "opens up the options for freestylers" wtf does that mean, grass and rock skiing most likely. Anyway I hope they step it up this year, after last year they need it.
 
you know if you hate mt snow so much wy would you even bother making a thread about how much you hate them. You don't have to go to mount snow. It might be convienent for you but you don't have to go there. Shawnee peak is the closest mountain to my house but i don't go there instead i drive 10 minutes more than what it is to shawnee and hit sundayrivre becasue its 40 times better.

dude, chill. mount snow is gunna be sick this year, i can feel it. everyones gunna have a good time on the "vermonster" even thought i agree that is a ghey name. they are probably trying their hardest to make everything awsome, they are hoping to open november 12, do you know how much money that is gunna cost them becuz the weather is stupid?
 
no un blacno still exists, the vermonster is the "name this park" park I think and Au natural will be a new park that prob wont ever open.  if they follow through with what they say props to mt snow, bt how many times have they in the past a la name this park.

they didnt open the mile long park last year because there wasnt enough snow. it would of been a GIANT waste of money and they didnt want to put any money into the mountain they knew they were selling so they opted to put a race course on it. who the fuck cares what the park is called. the vermonster is going to be where diablo was not the mile long park. the new owners are trying their best and investing millions of dollars into the park and pipe program and hiring people to come up with new ideas so YOU can have as much fun as possible and you being a little fuck have the nerve to come on here and bitch about it.

 
Exactly last year the park didnt open cause there wasnt enough snow, so how the fuck are they gonna open a park with no man made snow this year.  All I said was last year sucked and they better step it up this year. You don't need to have a bitchfit, you know how many times last year I payed for a lift ticket to have them close the park half way through the day, or claim its still open even though theres a comp going on in it, just to find out "open" means one box isnt blocked off.  Thats where I get the nerve.  They better work their ass off to make it more fun for US because after last year I'm pissed. 
 
That's prob what everyone will do. All the oldschoolers will do it, and all the new peeps will go along with it, because they won't want anyone to think they're new peeps.

Seriously, that has to be the gayest park name in the world, excepting maybe somewhere in France of course.

I'd like to think I a litle something about Mt Snow. I know that our General Manager (Big Boulder) spent his summer there and at Attitash overseeing snow guns and other.

If he had/has anything to with your parks this season, you have absolutely nothing to worry about compared to previous seasons.

Peak resorts is very aware of the importance of parks. Watch.
 
vermonster = diablo. diablo will always be the name in my mind. I have no clue what the au natural is gunna be like, hopefully not too shitty. since its next to diablo, i doubt i'll ever go in there. Lets hope for a 12th or 17th opening byah!
 
for the au natural park i dont think that will work out for the best. when i went to tahoe last year in february northstar didnt even have "the stash" open and thats basicly the same idea out west. for the parks i wouldnt really worry ive heard alot from different people that the manegment will try there hardest to get everything up and running. and for the name its only a name call it whatever you want, chances are people will no what your talking about wether u call it vermonster, diablo, or park.
 
If mt snow is trying to be creative, why not accept the creativity with an open mind. You can bitch and moan and put the blame on other people all you want, but in the end, a park will be what you make of it. If you focus on the negative aspects, you're not going to have fun in it. If you keep a positive attitude and set out just to  have fun, you'll have a great time.
 
i wanted to vent my anger toward mount snow for a while. granted there was not alot of natural snow last season they still had big jumps on the carinthia side. that really pissed me off, they were only catering to the skischools and a photoshoot. i guess the money i spend there is different...furthermor, im not supporting mount snow because im sure it will be terrible this season. the first hint is this, there are no big events scheduled. i dont support their rigged events anyways, but this is a sign that they arent going to do anything for freestyle. bare minimum at best.
 
im pretty confident that snow will step up this year and make up for the park, or lack of park, they had last year. ownership understands that to continue to be a popular mtn they have to make a sick park with the vermonster will be. as long as its cold and snows it will be dope this year

as for the au natural i think its a cool idea, but idk if its right for the east
 
I know!!! What assholes. It's october! They should have a full park up by now! Mount Snow is doing no good for freeskiing and parks in the east.

why are people putting down mount snow? seriously, its not like your forced to ski at a resort if you dont want to. if you dont like it, why not go to loon or straton or something. this thread would be soo much better and hyphier if we were talking about how sick snow is gunna be this year, yeah?
 
so many other things are already named the 'Vermontster'. Ben and Jerry's has an ice cream dish, restraunts have arterly clogging sandwiches named the vermontser
 
Actually, Mt. Snow is planning to hold one of the Freeski Tour Stops, soo your little hint kinda falls through. Hpefully Mt. Snow really steps it up with some baller jumps and rails this year. I'm keeping my fingers crossed.
 
everyone is an idiot, the au natural park is not cause there not using man made its cause there using tree jibs and everything, and yes they do blow in that park, almost as much as this thread blows
 
ridin mt snow for 3 years now and after last i decided not to get a pass this year. It will be pretty decent for the main event but the whole park crew is a bunch of lazy dick heads...i will say its cool of them to set up some super small stuff for everyone to hit today but its pretty much pointless if you live more than 30mins away. Lets hope that okemo killy stratton have good parks this year.....
 
are u sure the natural park is, natural snow only.

maybe it is natural jibs like log jibs, woden rails, things of that sort

Really.....? Thats copy and pasted straight from the mountsnow site. I see nothing about natural hits in there......

Well, on their snow report on their site, they said they will start blowing again on Thursday night, and they said they will be shooting for opening on November 12th. And they said they will start blowing on Vermontster as soon as possible.
 
i just wanna point out that peak resorts has done an awesome job with crotched mountain, so im pretty sure they'll do pretty good with mount snow.
