Ok so im sitting down watching t.v. and i just move my left leg a bit over to the side and all of a sudden i just feel this very strong pain, it felt like my muscle just locked. I couldnt move my leg. And by pain i just dont mean like " oww this hurts" i mean " FUUCCCKKK MY FUCKING LEG" like it killed and it lasted for a couple minutes then when i got up to move i couldnt even put my heel on the ground with out it killing. It's almost as if my leg all of a sudden cramped up majorly and pulled a mudcle at the same time and now im limping around 15 min after and i have a lacrosse game in an hour.

has this ever happened to anyone before?

yeah i have that sometimes too. but for me its usually when my leg is bent then there was a shock of pain and your gut reaction is to straighten out my leg which is what i do, and after a while it gets better

charlie horse from sitting down?? i thought a charlie horse was when you got hit hard in the leg by something.

on and btw it was in my calf muscle if that helps

^hahahaha yes. and he is correct.

sometimes you can massage it out, but i find if you just let it freak out, it'll be okay. afterwards just stretch, because it sounds like you're seriously concerned. buttttttttttttt i'm pretty sure you're AOK chief.

you prolly dont ave neough water

and the acid in your muscles caused them to spaz (like when you get really sore from doing phsyical activity or something)

and this also equals a charley horse

i get charlie horses all the fucking time. i cant stand them, but i asked my doctor and he said i need more potassium in my diet. ive been eating bananas and i dont get them as often

Eatcho bananas, get hydrated, and stretch that shit out and you'll be fine. Not a big deal at all. It happens to the best of us, bud.

you didn't have enough water. this happens to me like one a week. happened yesterday and usually what i do is just let it relax, like not try to stretch it out for a minute. then get up and get a glass of water, eat a banana and i'm good to go.

it could be if youve been exercising the lactic acids built up in your legs and your body couldnt get rid of them for some reason. so your leg cramped up. its your bodys way of saying your not going anywhere until it takes care of the acids. happens to me all the time.

i had both of my hamsrings cramp and spasm after getting lost backcountry skiing and taking 4 hours to hike out in powder up to my chest and they wouldn't stop until i strethced them out. it was a horrible experience. i was laying on the ground with my legs wigging out

after hiking this jump whose inrun was wicked steep and long for the whole day, the same thing happened to me with like 4 different muscles on the 2.5 hour ride home.

yea def a charlie horse, u just gotta move into a comfortable position as quick as possible i think or it wont go away 4 a lil while

if you get them in your calf or n e where else you gotta stretch them out. the easiest way to strech your calf when u have a charlie horse put your foot on a wall and heel on the ground and bend your ankle so your shin get closer to your toes.
