WTF is wrong with bridger bowl

dont get me wrong skiing at bridger is sick as hell, but what the fuck gives them the right to tear down the shacks at bridger. There was nothing better than blazing in the shacks during huge pow days. anyone else notice this terrible disaster. It sucks bad enough we dont have a park but taking down the FUCKING SHACKS shit!!!

 
FOR ALL YOU SHACK MASTERS THERE ARE STILL 2 LEFT Pierres knob shack is gone. both bridger shacks are gone. ALPINE=gone, send me a message if you want to know were the other 2 are, I am pretty stoked my friends built them this summer. FUCKING RAd

thats real strange they tore them down, but i suppose that should something bad happend it could be some sort of legal liability as to them 'facilitating' things like that

 
Yeah we built a botter next to a shack last year on alpine and that ones still here this year, but why would you get ripped on hug pow days when you could be out shreddin it?

^Because when you're pow doggin around the mountain and completely blazed... its what i like to call a snowgasm. I can't believe they tore down the shacks. I mean bridger used to be all about the ski bums and the ridge hipies... what happened?

yeah, in fact I think ALL professional athletes are good because of marijuana. Carlos Beltran? Daunte Culpepper? Michael Phelps? All smoke pot to get to the top, baby. You never will become good at anything unless you do it while high. I got high and got accpeted to grad school at MIT, then I made 10th round in the MLB draft ... all cause I blazed it up. Be like me and all the winners, get high and do stuff!!!

I had to laugh when I read this thread, I just couldn't help myself. "Why would they ever want to prevent me from getting high and skiing through crowds of people?" It's called liability, I really don't think Bridger wants to be responsible for you if you plow over somebody while you're blazed out of your mind. If you're going up to the mountain to get high, you need to step back and look at what you're doing, weed is for enhancing movies and consuming large quantities of pizza and chips, not skiing.
 
yea im gonna go to bridger with a friend of mine this winter over feb break. it will also be my first time out west. i hear it is sick and im really excited. except once i get there me and him will have no idea where to go or anythin. but i guess that will make it fun.. exploring and shit
 
this is a retarded thread. If I was up there in the summer I would rip the suckers down, mebbe we would get less stoners up there. and I wish they would rip the park down too so we don't get a bunch of wigger bitches like everyother hill/. Bridger is core man, and I like it that way.
 
a kid i knew was blazin in a shack @ bridger and the patrol came in and the kid thought he was caught but the patrol matched him a bowl.

It was one of the old patrollers with a big beard.
 
and who would want too mix pot and skiing? what a fucken retarded idea. The only reason anyone ever would smoke pot is too get "stoned" so why would anyone want too mix that with skiing? seem ludacrist too me. Certainly the smoke shacks empower and bring more of those wigger skiiers to the mountain and remove the "core" out of the mountain. certianly none of the "core" skiiers smoke pot at bridger. thats a unbeliveable thought too think about. you all need to pull your heads out of your asses and certainly all of you need to realize smoking weed is illegal and wrong.

I still know where there are 3 other shacks that no one has a fucken clue about. such a stupid thread.
 
while i can certainly understand the liability issue, i also believe that toking and skiing is a grand combination, right up there with coffee and donuts. (not that i persoanlly would ever smoke pot, of course..) and am quite a fan of the various shacks on lone mountain. especially upper africa. thats a sweet shack. theyre also good for warming up for a few minutes on those -15 days.
 
Wow, happenin thread, I know of at least 4 shacks still at Bridger, including the ridge. While I do agree that most pros smoke green, it is a personal thing. Being kited on a deep day is sick, but can be lame if your intention is to get baked. And the fact is that most "core" skiers at Bridger, at Crested Butte, at Jackson, and at Alta are getting blazed out of their gords.
 
this is stupid for bringin up but i felt like puttin in some 2 cents, im pretty sure colby west doesnt smoke weed or even drink n hes pro
 
dude I need all the lungs I got left to hike the rigde to hit the O's or the apron on pow days. The lack of oxygen is enough for a snowgasm.
