I'm going to the U of U and they just started enforcing a bandwidth cap of 2GB a day. so if you exceed it you just dont get internet... anyone know how to get around this? fucking lame.
Well since downloading music and movies is technically illegal, 2 GB is quite a bit. You can get around this with proxies of course, but 2GB is alot of bandwidth a day if you're just surfing NS.
2Gig is a ton of traffic in a day and I don't blame them for trying to enforce it. Bandwidth costs ridiculous amounts to buy from a service provider where you are over average usage.
