Wtd: backseated landings

so, this is kinda embarassing for me since I thought I was an advanced skier.

To my skiing. I land every trick from 1 to 9 with mute safely, tried a 10 twice landed it once, I can do cab5s, but I´m not that comfortable with switch thricks. So I guess my skiing isn´t that bad. BUT, there is one point that makes me rather land switch than land regular. Well, I mostly land backseated if I land regular. Not that hard backseated, but enough to let me have problems skiing the trick out and enough to let my lower feet hurt like hell.

I uploaded a 7en to bail of mine on youtube so you can watch yourself:

hope you can give me some advice

well after watching the video it looks like you overrotated the landing and you spun quite fast. possibly lean forward more?

anyone else have suggestions?

Yeah its a lil bit overrotatet too, but if you have a look at the point when my skis/tails hit the landing you might see that I´m quite a lot backseated. Thats why I postet the video...

same as above , u need to spot ealier, but also i think you need to pop forward more to counter act the angle u take off of from the kiker, if that makes any sence, bassicaly ur lading at the same angle u took off from.

yup. the only thing you need to do, is make a conscious effort to keep pressure on the front of your boots as you take off. its real easy to hit jumps in the backseat. if your centered-up as you leave the lip, youll land centered up. i used to and sometimes do have the same problem, and as long as i remeber to do that, it corrects it.

alot of it has to do with non-symetrical centered twins. they kinda like to be skied backseat, since your so far ahead of where you should be, you get in the habit of not skiing forward in your boots.

i use to do the same thing, what you need to do is when you throw your arms to spin, dont thrown them parallel to the jump, through them flat, even with the ground... i hope i explained that right..

try waiting a little longer before you go for your grab.. (and i mean just a split second)
