^yes, they can break. Yes, they have broken, im sure he knows. how many of you have actually ridden a pair? how many have actually owned a pair? broken a pair? if you have, ive misjudged you, and i apologize. for the rest of you, enough.
I owned a pari, and shredded the toe peice off within 2 weeks of riding them. Ive also blown out my left knee twice, but hey, they were worth a shot. Just save up a little more money and get FKS 120s.
dude, i'm gonna be honest with you. i have a pair that i would love to get off my hands. however, i wouldn't want to sell them to a fellow newschooler. they've never broken on me and the release system seems to work fine. with that said, the lifters on them put you about half an inch above the ski( very annoying on rails ) and they weigh so much that they through me off in the air. they must be like five/six pounds each. anyway, thats my two cents. hope it helps.
^ i never noticed the weight so much, except when hiking, because my skis were mounted true center. but, you do have a valid point about the rise, it does lift you up.
