Need some good skis for my mom's birthday.
Currently she's on some mid-150s 70-something waisted K2 noodly very-cambered heavily-sidecutted skis the sales man told her would be a great all around ski for someone her size (~160lbs, 5'8") skiing all over, not charging but confident (K2 noodles dull the confidence part greatly).
Seeing how much these suck in just about everything for someone her size aside from slow groomers and moguls, I decided I needed to get her a ski that fits the following:
Powder aimed, but still comfortable in all types on conditions including ice and moguls
Cambered and rockered, more tip than tail rocker
Some taper would be great but isn't a requirement
Waist somewhere around 105mm seems like it'd be fitting
Length..not sure, depending on the rocker maby up to 175?
And lastly I'm guessing being a little on the softer side but not a total noodle would be ideal.
Bindings included would be great.
