WTB Travel Ski Bag (2 pair)

I am doing some traveling and need a bag that will hold two pairs (176cm) and work well on airplanes.  Ive got a little money and will be going to backcountryoutlet if this doesnt work out. let me know what you have.

Thanks

i got a double 190cm one last year on ebay and there were some other options on there. search that.

yeah i wouldn't bother bumping this much more. you should know that there really aren't that many sweet ski bags out there and just jump on one of the cheap, relatively durable variety. also, check your local TJ Maxx, I was in there today and they had some high sierra ones for around the same price.

I have one of those High Sierra double ski bags, and it is acceptable, but not very robust. Lots of tears in the fabric and the zipper is pretty cheap.

I live in Arizona, but have a Fusion Pass on Mt. Hood, so I end up flying a lot (I think it was about 10 round trips last year). This season, I am buying SporTube hard case. They are pretty expensive (like $150 or so), but it is a hard fiber case - which means the airlines will actually be at fault if they break your skis. If you have a soft case and they break them, you are SOL (that is why they make you sign a waiver when you check them).

Another vote for the dakine roller bag. Its a little more but considering how much your ski equipment is worth, it's money well spent.
