WTB skis

if anyone has any twin tips in and around Toronto, preferably with some bindings, i'm interested. 170-180. preferably with bindings.

i have a pair of J.O. pros for sale (last years) only used 4 times...no rails....with mojo 15 bindings...asking $400...oh yeah size 177cm....i have a couple friends who want them...however no final deals yet...pm me if you want pics...

i'd say no on the z10's. but it also depends on how much you weigh.

i'd go for the pivot biding from look/rossi because it would be far safer if you're just getting into park

You can try em but on a center mounted park ski, with someone your size, you're going to be cranking the bindings to he max and still popping out...

Z10s should be fine unless you're really really aggresive.

theyre a lot lighter than Looks and other salomon S9**.

you get what you pay for, if you want good bindings you can drop $300 on STH 16s. Salomon doesn't make shit, but ofcourse STH bindings are more durable. Also I highly doubt you need a DIN higher than 10, but if theres any doubt go into a shop and ask before hand.

No matter what its a 5 year warranty.

i dont think anything has ever lasted me 5 years, besides like clothes and obvious stuff like that. skis? no way. snowboard? no dice. Bike? i wish.

Well there will be a learning curve anyway (since u've been off real skis for 6 yrs)

If your height and weight requires that ski length (181) then get it. because you dont want to start to feel comfortable on skis again, and then be wishing for a longer edge.

Plus a 174 compared to a 180 is really only about 3 cm's on each end of the ski, and those are always curved upwards, so it may be even less.

Talk to Erik ..... his NS is F5* Hes got some sexi twins for sale....... just cant really remember what ehy are........

no, snowblades are garbage. i rock skiboards. and yes, there is a huge difference for any one out there who wants to be extremely narrow sighted.

skiboards have wood cores, 4x4 binding mounting holes, true twins, really fat. mine have a 105 waist, with 140 tips. and they feel and ride much better than snowblades. and snowblades are the ones made by salomon. other ski companys make snowblades, but skiboards are made by true skiboard communtiy supporting brands, like back in the day line used to.

ive got a pair of last years line chronics 176 with mojo 15 bindings on em. $285 check my threads or pics

back to the top, i am once again looking for skis. if anyone can beat 400 for suspects that are brand new, we're done here. preferably with bindings.
