Just use one of the paper templates available here: http://www.techinfo.bindingfreedom.com/uploads/FKS_paper_template_R8.pdf
Make sure it sizes correctly, you have to print it to 100% scaling, not auto sized. Look to see if it matches up with your bindings before you drill holes.
There are plenty of How To guides on the internet to mount with paper templates, and I have done it dozens of times without messing up. In fact I usually end up with a better mount than a shop job.
Or spend the 100-200 bucks on a jig, because that is how much they will cost.
