And oh yeah, eff the black one...it shows way more scratches than white and costs more (even with the exact same hardware configuration). Go white.

I'm aware, but before the switch to the new design, when you could pick color options, the black was $100 more, even with the exact same hardware.

And it still shows scratches way worse.

probably selling mine next week, as soon as my new one arrives. It's a 1.83 white, with Applecare until late summer 2009.

The palm-rest is one of those that got discolored. but the local mac shop is installing a brand new shell for me (so it'll look nice and fresh). I have all the original documentation, extra software, external monitor adapter (mini DVI to VGA), and a brand new magsafe power cord.

mac books are the best before i got one i was using a pc and its amazing how much better they are the only problem that i would say with them is that they are a little more expensive but its worth it
