WTB Mac Book for college

if anyone has a simple bare bones mac. I am in liberal arts so i will be doing no editing or anything of that sort i just need something for class to browse the internet and type. if its a deal i could settle for a PC

My buddy has one of the black MB's from 2008. Its a nice puter. HE just got a 15inch mbp so ill see if he wants to part with it

double check with your schools deals and upcoming specials on computers before buying a used one. it may be worth just waiting till you're enrolled and use the student discount. last year at Minnesota they liquidated brand new macbooks(the previous year's setup with memory, processor, etc) for under 600 for about a week.
