goin to the U of U so longboarding is a good way for me to get around. my sector 9 i have now is way beat so im lookin for another setup.would like to keep it on the inexpensive side
 
Whats up dude, I have a 44" Sector nine pintail with Randal 150 trucks. All it needs is some wheels and bearings. If you've got paypal I'd send it off to ya for 50 bucks
 
First off, NEVER buy a Gold Coast longboard. They are chinese ripoffs. Second, if you want a good transportation/carving/small hill bombing board. You should just get a Kracked Skull. They are some of the best longboards made.

40 or 43 inch M1 deck. You do not need the scimitar deck, its not worth the extra money. Next, get the good ol Randal trucks, and the Abec 11 70s flashback wheels, grippy, cheap, fast, good wheels. Next, get the cheap bearings, or no bearings at all, and get a pair of Bones Reds later. and last but not least, you can customize your paint job. He can send you the sealer in a can, and you can paint the board yourself, and then seal it.

Hope that helps. If I had known about KS when I started out, I would have saved a couple hundred bucks.
