I'm thinking about selling my 4th gen 20 gig that I bought like 2 or 3 months ago. I'm not quite ready to get rid of it but probably in another month or so when I need money to ski I'll sell it.

Yeah the battery life is 12+ hours...plenty for skiing and they are bombproof. I've only ever talked to 1 person that managed to break their ipod physically and that was because water somehow got into the hard drive...they are amazing!

I mean, dont you have to replace the batterie after 18 months beacuse the lithum batterie dies? and doesnt it cost like 2 bills american. I know alot of ppl that work at best buy and they all say the ipod is shit. just wondering where your info is coming from?

they are great, but the battery does suck ass, does any one know if the amount of gigs or songs you have affects the battery life, like how long it stays charged for

batteries are 90 bucks idiot.

and i seriously am trained staff at best buy, but i didnt learn that their. i tell customers not to get the warranty from us, cuz the apple warranty covers EVERYTHING on the ipod, so dont worry about the battery people, and it is bombproof.
